  I dont know how to get the thing in the carpet..I already got the ladder and the cup but what do I do next?

ok the thing in the carpet WAS the ladder

The trick is to use the bluecup on yourself in order to fill it (you'll se what happens, hehe)

Oh and following the rules in the README.TXT it is obligatory that I make fun of you now:
