i keep pointing to the poster and she says nothing underneath it and when i call the police staion she just asks to speak with the inspector, what do i do?

okay now i need more help, i have done everything i am suppose to do on day one, i have put the nail polish on the buttons and i have both ciggarettes i have talked to the police and gotten all the stuff outta the trash, now she is saying she had to find out more about who was behind the kidnapping! i dont know what to do, the walkthrough just says to walk outside and the day will be over

Did you look at the ashtray on Peter's desk? Not sure if that makes any difference.
