Is there an effort to rewrite modules to update them to 3.3.0 and up?
Usually modules are updated when the author is adding new features, or someone requests it.
Are there specific modules you would like to see upgraded?
Whenever I update an older module to 3.3+, I post it in the original authro's thread. But indeed it's supposed to be the job of the author.
