Hi,

I've recently completed an 8bit Pixel Music Video for Goldfish's single 'We Come Together'.

Around 20 people from around the world worked on it.

See if you can spot the 'Sam & Max' and 'Day of the Tentacle' reference.

Hiya, I posted this also in the 'recruitment' thread.

I've done some tests for a room. I'm looking for a coder.

Here's the room:

If someone can take the files and make an AGM little test out of it? If it works like I think it does then I'll carry on and possibly plan out a more interesting thing. Guy takes fishbowl. It'd also be cool to get some scaling in the room with him getting bigger as he comes nearer to the foreground.

Any coders wanna work with me on this? Here are the graphic files:

Look forward to seeing this in action,

Hiya,

I recently completed an animated music video for Cape-Town band 'Goldfish'. A lot of the stuff from old Lucasarts games like DOTT, SNM, Full Throttle etc ... inspired me. Anyone recall TUNNEL OF LOVE from Sam & Max? Anyways, I've had the comment on more than one occasion that the style reminded a person of DOTT. I really like that game. Also how the games deal with foreground objects with a little blur and darkened. Nice.

Here's the video: Goldfish - 'Get Busy Living':

As a side I really like the Maniac Mansion project going on here. Some of the stuff looks great! Would really like to help ... just concerned about time restraints and other projects. Also never really played through the MM game so not too sure what the deal is though I played through DOTT last year. Loved it.

Hi,

I finished my game here:

Jokes. I posted here recently enquiring about a Mac OS X port of the AGS editor. I've been bent on making an old-school adventure game for the last little while. I was able to mostly soothe my 8-bit craving by putting some of it into this animated music video.

Hi, I'm new here...well, back in 2002 I had a PC and I used to make games with it. Really liked the software.

Now I have 2 macs and I've been searching through the forums and the Internet, and it seems like Crossover doesn't really work, nor Wine? Have I got this right? I don't want to have to buy Windows again, so I wonder if anyone here's been able to make AGS games with a Mac? I've also searched for other stuff too, Lassie seems to be an option although it looks like I might need flash to create material.

Really going for the 640 x 480 look.

Thanks, and I know there are posts here about Mac, and flaming and all that stuff, but maybe someone's been lucky and been able to make a game successfully with Mac OS X.

Thanks,

Mike
