Ah!! Thank you so much everyone! Thank you for the feedback, the votes, and the congratulations! :)

Myself and Kiwi are very grateful, and extremely flattered!! I'll be casually working on fixing the coding for the room changes, and eventually will release an update with that being fixed.

Some of you also mentioned not being able to save: To save, you have to open up your inventory and press the little power button! The option to save will come up there, as I don't know do automatic save points and the like ^^

Thank you again so much!!

@Cassiebsg

Spoiler
I can answer a few of those questions for you, as I did the coding part of it!
1) You can save the game by having the invnetory bar pop up and clicking the power button of sorts on the upper right hand side. That way you can save your game and come back to it!
2) For both your other two concerns, I'll be honest I don't know what I'm doing. I've NEVER coded anything before and this was my first time doing so! I did a lot of reasearch and couldn't figure out a lot of things ^^' The room confirmation is there since when I was running it I kept accidentally switching rooms and I added the confirmation for the fact I didn't like leaving randomly when I was testing it.

Thanks so much for the feedback, and I'm glad you liked the charm of it!

Hi, congrats on the release.  (nod)

Seems like the file that it's trying to be downloaded is not HoppingHomeward.exe but journey.exe.

Also, could you provide a zipped version of the game? I don't like, nor do I download, installers for ags games.
Thanks.   :)

Thank you!

They are the same thing, when I created the game on my PC, the title had been called a Journey Home, and I don't know how to actually change the .exe name once it's been finished! D:

I'll also look up what folder/item I'd need to zip to upload it properly as a zip file onto itch.io! Thank you for your feedback!

Edit:  I have now added a ZIP file for download! The .exe can't be changed so far, but I'll be sure to keep looking into it. Thanks again!

Hopping Homeward is a point and click adventure game, where you play as a small rabbit trying to escape the woods!
There are friends and foes, so be careful where you tread and what items you use.
Try to get home, and try not to get eaten!

This is a game developed by two people, myself and Kiwi (not on the forums), and it's our first game! We hope to create more in this world in the future, maybe even a longer edition of this game!

Download it here!: https://kiwinugget.itch.io/hopping-homeward

Some Screenshots!

We hope you enjoy the game, and Happy Hopping!

I could use the extension to the 4th, just to make sure everything is working!
