the only thing i can think of is if i change the stand frame for up to the same as down so the char will aways turn the correct way then somehow change the up default standing frame to a new frame?
can this be done?

i've changed the walk cycle to 12 frames long
and the game speed to 24 FPS

with a animation delay of 1
that seems to look aright

still kinda blurry when he walks
#5
Yes, if the player is facing left and you click anywhere right they always go Left - Up - Right

Hey,

the player still need to move in 4 directions. its just that turn from left to right - just doesn't look good as good when he turns clockwise Left - Up - Right, i'd rather have him go Left - Down - Right

Hi Guys, i've got Turn before walk on and it looks great going from right to left the character faces down/forwards but going from left to right the character faces up/backwards and its kinda odd looking
anyone know how i can make it use the same forward frame for both left and right turns?

cheers for all your help!

Good Morning,

i've created a nice smooth Walk cycle in after effects 24 .fps 1sec long

when i add it to the game

Animation Delay 1
Movement Speed 24

it becomes very blurry when in motion - im not sure if its the speed setting or the frame rate or what?
any help would be grand!
