Guy with the broken jaw ran..yes..even with the jaw...just underneath the bottom part of his right side rib cage

I really hope this is not another lame sad attempt at someone making up stories (or Trolling) to see what kind of attention or response they can get.

I seem to recall the "Bass Fisherman" (Who is "Bass"), who is also the same person who used to use other nicknames as well, that would sometimes post up strange posts just too see what kind of reaction he might get.

I mean, remember that "Bass" is known to be behind starting such crap-posts such as "Hey, it's safe to look directly at the Sun, and in fact improves your eye sight" type of posts:

Still, if in fact what you say happen did happen "Bass", then, I'm just stating the facts as I know them so my apologies about my suspicions... But regardless, I will post up some of my thoughts on such a topic matter as you have now brought up:

In regards to topic of getting attacked and defending oneself: I've been attacked on many occasionaly, and on many occasionions I've been forced to defend myself. Sometimes I've very seriously hurt others, but at few points here to keep in mind:

* I always try to avoid a fight. Physical violence is always a very last resort.. however..
* If attacked, then (at least in my mind and experience) you have every right to defend yourself and your life or the life of other innocents.
* If attacked, and if one just passively chooses to accept it and does nothing to defend against it, then, there's a good chance you may end up seriously hurt, injured, maimed, paralyzed or perhaps even killed.

So, if it comes down to a choice of letting myself be seriously hurt (and possibly killed) or choosing to defend myself because some other jerk decided to attack me when I did not want to fight in the first place, then I will choose to rightfully defend myself and will use whatever force neccesary to do so, especially if thier intent is clear in that person or persons who attack me wish to seriously hurt or kill me.
* Live and let live I think. Avoid fights and conflicts when at all possible. Violence is a last resort, but defend oneself when neccessary.
* If someone else gets seriously hurt or (or possibly killed) because they tried to seriously hurt or kill me and I was forced to defend myself, then, of course I will feel terrible about the fact that I hurt (or killed) another human being... but... I will still accept the fact that it was neccesary at the time in order to defend myself against an unprovoked attack and I will go on with my life.

We all make mistakes in life and/or may experience some really bad situations, some quite serious, but I think there are not many situations that can truely justify comitting suicide. Life is precious, every day is a gift, appreciate and respect your life and the life of others.

Did this confrontation happen back near the beginning of school or was it recently?

Did the guy you shanked live for a few months before dying?

I'm assuming you aren't in jail / on trial because you're a minor?

Were the police involved?

You really should give us some more details.Ã,  I'm not trying to be rude (at all!) but if you're going to post a topic like this on an internet message forum you really need to fill us in.

I was in Spanish Fork at the time, i always have my knife with me...I don't know why the gun jammed...just something stopped the firing pin from making contact with the primer...he did live a few months, but according to the doctors it was because of the knife wound...His parents said that they understand that it was an accident and aren't going to press charges...The "accident" happend a bit before school started..the other two ran as soon as i stabbed shawn...provo's not rough, and spanish fork really isn't either...

Thanks you guys for all the support.  These are just tuff times, but I think i'll make it through.  That failed attempt to commit suicide got me thinkin, and maybe its not meant to be.  The gun i used had never once jammed on me until then.  I think i may just need to stop thinking about this and try to put it all behind me. Thanks again you guys

I never thought...that one phone call could change your life forever, but I was wrong..
You see..Earlier this year, before i started school again...something happend...I caught my girlfriend, well ex-gf now, sleeping with somebody else.  She told me to never tell or she would kill me.  On my way home I was jumped by three people...I broke one of them's jaw, and stabbed another...The person who I had stabbed had been my best friend in the world..He was like a brother to me.  Last night I got a phone call from his parents saying that he had passed away.  The reason of death: The knife wound.  They told me that he wanted me to know he was sorry.  I don't think anybody could be as sorry as I am.  Last night, I tried to shoot myself, but the gun jammed.  I don't know whether to think of it as a sign, or to try it again.  I started this topic because, somehow telling all this to you guys (and girls) and getting it off my chest makes me feel a bit better.  Im sorry for rambling on, but thank you for atleast taking the time to read this.  I hope none of you EVER have something like this happen to you

I have only finished 1 game with AGS. I've finished a few in Flash though...mostly games for websites, even though they're not on a website

Hmmm.... you play them online...i like using emulators and roms that you download more, but even thats not as cool as owning the real thing...but hey, when has that ever stopped me?
