JJ- I guess I never really believed it would get released... and then bam, I found the publisher and it was a bit too late to do voiceover. Will try to do it for The Cat Lady!
If you do end up making voices for your next game, it would be good to give players an option on whether they want the voice or not. I've seen plenty of games have their atmosphere ruined because of bad acting.

This sure is taking a long time...
Since you're done with your animated movie (and your website doesn't work), could you give us some updates from here?

Ah, a little shorter and easier than I expected. Still, it's got me craving a third. Could you try and make the next one really long, or at least, beatable in an hour or two?

OH MY GOD! I've been waiting for this for ages! Thank you so much, LimpingFish!  ;D

Actually, Apprentice II is made with 2D graphics, drawn in a fresh way that we don't always see every day, and so forth. No offense, but your game had this sort of plain feel to it. It's nothing I haven't seen a million times before in other, older games. The art style COULD work if you worked to make the 3D look something like Scratches does.

Now, I know that's practically impossible for an indie freeware developer to do, which is why I think it's always better to stick to 2D rather than 3D. Some games, like Alone in the Nightmare and Prodigal, have HL1 and 3D Studio Max locations (respectively), but what makes Prodigal look better than that game is the mixture of 2D and 3D, which I also think might make your game look a little better.

In the end, you aren't the best artist, so maybe you should have someone work on the graphics while you work on the more important things (coding, exterminating bugs, script writing, fixing typos, the usual). That's what Trisk did for Prodigal, and look at how awesome the comic-book-style cut-scenes are!

This was so hilarious! Please make another one, this time making fun of The Shivah! Your humor is on-point.

I had no idea this was even released! Mordalles, I enjoyed the first one, and you need to let everyone know of this second one.

1)Have you started work on the full-length game yet?
2)How much will the full game cost?

Badassery! I want to see another game from you!

Spoiler
Who cares if it doesn't make sense or creates a time paradox? It's still fun as hell! If you let things like this drag down your enjoyment of the game, you have serious issues.

So I was checking TellTale Game's website lookin' for updates, and what do you know, Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine is being sold at their store! That's awesome you got TellTale to publish it; they're pretty well-known now for Sam and Max and the Bone series.

Dear God! What has this forum come to, posting games of this form? This puts a mark of shame on the AGS name.

Just take some creative liberties...have you ever played The Matrix: Path of Neo? That has a pretty huge creative liberty...
Spoiler
Instead of Neo giving up, Smith sucking him in and being destroyed, Neo fights a MEGA-SMITH made up of all the clones (come on, you knew they would be used somehow), destroys Smith, and somehow dies (they don't tell you how, though/

You don't have to stick to the story through and through to create a good experience. Sometimes changes need to be made for a more entertaining experience!

Yes, Yahtzee has played the Silent Hill games. In fact, he pitted the main characters from the four games against each other! I agree that it is an obvious inspiration.
