Has anyone considered a Game of Thrones AGS fan game? What sort of thing would you want to do?
How about not making an AGS fan game out if? There's now an official RTS and RPG game, with I think a cards game (digital) in the production as well. The world is expanded as all hell, very well I might add, what kind of a contribution would an AGS adventure game, with limited to no budget, have in all this?

BUt, other than, that, you'd need somebody that doesn't actually fight that much, but talks his way out of things...so basically the narrow selection would fall on Tyrion. (I haven't read all the books yet, so I don't know if he is indeed alive in the end though, please no spoilers!)

Since you mention Love2d, how hard it is to make an adventure game in it? By "adventure game" I mean with inventory, hotspots, dialog trees, sprite animation and scaling, is it all hard to implement? I've been looking over some tutorials and trying some things, but I haven't seen people doing them in Love2d, they make retro rpg and platformer stuff mostly.

You can tween, then just remove frames. Animation is usually done by having 12 frames per second instead of the usual 24fps, but those frames are duplicated so it's still 24 in the end - first and second frame are frame1, third and fourth frame are frame2 etc.

So instead of trying to be objective, you say it's better to trust:
A) a bunch of people who have over history been proven to have done awful things with motivation of greed and personal gain, by butchering, starting wars, burning people alive, stealing, promoting actions that cause the spread of STD-s etc. Not to mention all the riches they've gathered over the centuries by taxing states and poor people to build giant monuments to God while all around them people died in poverty?
B) a book that has it's origin in about 1500 years and contains stories passed on from generations of sheep herders who were mostly illiterate. A book containing stories of magic and floods and miracles that all not seem to have happened in the last 1000 years even though much worse things have? A book that has more ambiguous interpretations through that party from section A, than anything else in the history of mankind...

Choosing that and so much more decide what is right and wrong instead of thinking for yourself, because you have doubt about your objectivity!? Is that what God or Jesus or whatever authority or higher being would have wanted? Man, if you could have rational discussion with religious people, then really there would be no religious people.

Also, have you noticed in movies and such, that people in a submarine stand...well they couldn't do that if the submarine was coming out of the water at the angle you made. It's very much a controlled ascend, while yours is more of a bottle full of air jumping out of the water.

Just in case anyone is concerned about *my* problem >:(
After like the sixth time Artgem crashed while saving, I found I could take a screen shot and paste at least a bunch of my work into paint (including a nicely bordered "Windows has encountered a serious error" box). Saved me much frustration, for reference although no one uses Artgem...
Well, you haven't actually said this happens to you in Artgem. I think InCreator and some other folks work in Artgem, so they might know, in general though, since it seems to be unstable on your OS, maybe change to ASE sprite editor, GIMP, Grafx2 or something similar?

Ryan, maybe doing the Mexican Wave can help? Single Mexican Waves have been done before.
And thus "Hey, baby, lets you me make some Mexican Waves" came to be.

Yeah this might be a bit confusing, but I think it was made so it's more accessible over keyboard shortcuts because it's mostly made for working on photographs and well it's interface clunkiness is nothing compared to Illustrator, with the Live Paint options and using the Knife tool etc. that's a freaking mess of some internal logic.

Did you you uncheck the aa box before drawing the mask?
Yeah, that might be why.

Also, just additional info, you have options of Brush and Pen (Pen is of course for pixel art), but to erase you choose the eraser then change the Mode to Pencil in order to delete with a sharp edge.

Let me tell you what's happening in my country, I think talking about the "bit more extremer" behaviour of such thoughts is.
Right now organization called "For family", which is unofficially supported by the branch of catholic church in my country, have gathered enough signatures to call for a referendum. What would be the issue of this referendum? To change the constitution (not a law, but to change the founding principles on which our country is founded) and define "marriage" as a "bond between man and a woman". So they actually want change something in the constitution, which would actually clash with more than few other things in that same constitution (all people being equal and should be treated equally no matter what).

I don't know if these people are scared of "homos" destroying their marriage (which is just stupid and has nothing to do with people wanting same sex marriages) or just, again, stupid enough to be influenced by backwardness of their upbringing and again church doctrines...which btw clearly has in it's core for all people being equal and God loving ALL his children.
It is just sad how some people feel endangered from someone who wants to be treated the same and yet feel the need to put their opinions and beliefs above other people.
ALL OF THIS is without mentioning the fact there are far more problems that need taking care of and far more causes that should have priority EVEN if you are against gay marriage. Economy, education, jobs, environment, homelessness, poverty, crime, corruption, government...and the biggest reaction you get from is when the question of gay marriage is raised? That is so wrong,.

Whether you think it's only for tax breaks or health insurance, why would you deny that to someone and why would you think heterosexuals don't do that already? Same thing with adopting babies, people who would rather see a child being without anybody to care for them, molest them or abuse them for child support, than to let a homosexual take care of them and at the same time not understand that some heterosexual people already are doing  horrible things to kids...that's f-ed up and cruel.

Hold the hell on, damn it, I'm just playing the game now.
Just got into Metropol, very nice game so far, oozes atmosphere.

EDIT: finished the game, everything was very nice, except maybe the kiosk puzzle which kind of depends on a small detail that I just didn't catch and thus got stuck. Story, art, music, all interesting. Very nice job.
Now onto those Fallen episodes.

No nudity in the last episode but it was mind blowing!!  8-0 8-0
Indeed, awesome episode, many awesome moments. And great hint in the previous episode:
Spoiler
Cersei talks to Marge about what happened to the Lord of Castamere who rebelled against the Lannisters, and that song was at the end of the 2nd season http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECewrAld3zw (song is called Rains of Castamere) and it's supposed to be like an actual song they sing in the actual world. Lyrics say it pretty much all.

So when the band started playing that song I just thought "damn, shit is about to go down".

Lol, I was thinking "oh, it'd be cool if they had an actual panda"...and they freakin' do.

Well The Guild, watched the season 1 and 2 (out of 4), found it interesting. It's rather old now, but still...that channel also has stuff like TableTop series (they play table top games with minor celebrities, but major cool people).
I'm currently watching Penny Arcade's Strip search, which is sort of like Survivor but with webcomic artists, they're almost at the finale now, it's a nice show.
That's about it.

You really need to clean that up, there are random white and gray spots all around the character. Plus when you decide that white is transparent (which you'll need in AGS), the t-shirt will be partly transparent, so make sure to put something else in the final version (usually bright purple is used or pure green).
Be also careful on double pixels (jacket and trousers are full of them) - don't use two pixels when you can draw one, use the extra space for something else.

Rose actress doesn't actually have that big of breasts, so in this low resolution you don't need to pronounce them that much (unless you really want to), but indicate that she is female by her stance and anatomy (for example thicker/wider hips). You can show/indicate breasts in the profile. Also what doesn't seem like her is that she has a narrower head and a different haircut (well that changes but there's a few that usually appear). And yes, the Union Jack shirt might be tough to draw.

I cleaned it up, made the changes, removed the nose and just put a mouth (usually it's more important that we see the character is talking and show the nose in profile etc.)
[imgzoom]http://i.imgur.com/s6TmUPI.png[/imgzoom]
There's colors as well (for example her lips and the shadowing beneath her breasts is the same color, only 2 colors on pants and hair etc.). Feel free to use this in any way you want (including ignoring it completely  )

What to do next? Draw her in profile. Make sure you have one drawing next to the other and keep hands, eyes etc. on the same height/number of pixels. Then find one of the tutorials here on forums with a walkcycle.

p.s. you made some shading that I just removed all together, my suggestion is to not shade you characters until you feel comfortable with all aspects, including animating (you have to shade for each frame, so it takes a lot of extra consideration)

I guess I'll still play it, but I won't pay for it, hah!
The moral high ground.

Maybe you should put the music in front of everything, as in don't open with a page about you, but about your work. I think the usual train of thought is "oh, I like this tune, I wonder who made it" and not "I wonder if this person does some music I like, because they seem like a good person".
Yeah, what cat said, layout is kind of bland, but I wouldn't say it necessarily bad.

Also, you might want to make a twitter account (and connect a feed to the page) or something, if you're not doing a blog, not because "everybody does it", but it also lets people know that the page is actually active and that you're still updating. There's a lot of dead webpages around the net, so maybe just think about it. You don't have to be active on twitter that much, maybe pick a song of the day each day or something silly.

The campaign looks healthy, but I'm not going to start buying monocles and top hats (yet). I must say, I didn't expect to be competing with all my childhood heroes in the form of Armikrok, Massive Chalice and Vampyre Story!
Ha ha, yeah wth is with all the adventure game kickstarters, plus there's bundles with adventure games as well?! But still, good luck.

Oh, and happy brithday to RL Nelly.

Well if the proportions are the ones you want, then I just suggest to make her skull (not the whole head with hair and all, but the solid skull part) wider in the front view.
Personally I think guy's head is a bit too small as well.

But in general I like the style.

Characters always look simpler, because they require animation, but it's important they work with backgrounds and I think, so far, in this game project, they do.

She might be a bit too elongated (torso is too long and head too narrow). Have you agreed on proportions for characters (like height in heads)?
