Do you have a second Windows account on the same computer? Or try the guest account. Maybe it's due to some account specific setting.
Well if it's that, I'll probably leave it (nothing but trouble with multiple accounts in my experience). Since it's just Kickstarter, that's probably not that though, but thanks for the suggestions.

EDIT: well for some reason, today KS decided it will show the videos...for some reason.

Have you tried updating your Flash player? It's definitely not Kickstarter's fault because everything works fine for me, in FF as well as Chrome.
I've checked the version already and it's the latest.

There's a boom of Kickstarter projects and something is f-ed up with it's videos (the ones on the front page of each project). I've tried in Chrome (which is updated) and FF, but both give me just a picture instead of a button and video player.
The weird thing is that if I press the "Embed" link below the video, I can play the videos from there and I can play videos which are linked (like from RPS or some other site). Which is really weird. I also can extract the link to the video file with Inspect element viewer and play it in a new tab (but this is really annoying).

Now it might have something to do with iframes and or html5 support check. In the Inspect element view I saw that the page checks if I have the html5 capable browser (which I should since it's the latest update of Chrome) and instead offers the .jpg (which is apparently what happens).
Oh, btw everything else, like youtube etc., works fine (as far as I am aware).

Now why I haven't tried googling this problem? Because if you f-in google anything with "kickstarter" you get just a bunch of project pages.
So anybody might know what the trouble is?

I'm so tempted to post a Dr. Horrible screenshot, but technically it's a mini series, not a movie and that would just open a whole can of...film.
So here's this one instead:

Ravenous?
I thought it was before, but now that I see civil war uniforms...

Yep, align that text on the side.

All that bevel photoshop effect cheapens it a bit and it's not really that good for a logo - logo will be in different sizes and media so it has to be clear (I think even Darth's example might not adapt well with all those 1 and 0 in the background, but it is better), also it's good for a logo to be recognizable even if it's black and white. And I think the BL looks cramped because of that bevel as well.

Everywhere you see like sharp lines, for example where her legs meet the torso, you might want to check vertices are welded together.

Quote from: Furwerkstudio on Tue 28/05/2013 03:39:24SPEED EDIT: I forgot to mention why I modelled her breasts close was because I was going to add some clothes later on, sorry to sound perverted just thought I brought that up.
Oh, don't worry about that, I already think you're perverted, but adjusting character to fit clothes is just regular, mostly, male thinking.

Wow, a PA comic that's actually funny, haven't seen those in a while. I do watch the Strip search and other PATV shows though.

1. this is for Critique lounge

2. basically what awakening said. Plus a few things - tail is coming out of her back, instead of above the butt, never saw people put it above the waist line of the pants at least.
Also you will have trouble on the head.

3. you ran into what basically a lot of people overlook when doing a 3d model. Even if you're making a model out of your own sketch, cartoony characters don't always look that good. Try incorporating some anatomy, for example the stomach muscle placement and the rib cage placement and general volume of parts. Also, you'll have a very nasty seam on the back of her hair, it is seen even without the wireframe - the vertices in the center of symmetry are too pronounced and even with smoothing, they'll be visible.

4. 3d models are usually shown for this kind of look in FRONT, SIDE and maybe then some perspective view and at least one of them should show the polygons (wireframe), I think I see more than one fault in polygon arrangement, but I can't really be certain without the wireframe

Wow, you work quickly. It looks nice.

- you don't have anything that is so deep or inorganic (like a boxy house or paths) that actually would show if the perspective is severely broken. Maybe that path coming from the woods - if you take that the horizon line is...well the horizon (somewhere at the bottom of those farthest mountains, about half the height of the drawing) - the path would not be viewed from so much above (you've drawn it like you're above it almost), but be a bit flatter/narrower, since it's viewed from the side slightly. Take for example the fireplace, you drew it almost from the side and it's on the same level as the path from the forest, so the path should be also from the side slightly (just a bit narrower).
But that is just fine tuning.

- those trees on the mountain in the middle again look kind of "artificial" in their position/grouping, that's probably work in progress, so nevermind

- the first horizontal line (from the bottom), might be ok if you're going for an Aztec blocky feel, but as is, it just looks like one of the mountains. In reality it would probably be less pointy, since it's actually close to the camera (it's not far away, so we still see the details and you can't just simplify the line into a pointy straight line).

- clouds (as you did them) end with pointy ends, if those points aren't on the same height, sometimes the whole cloud can seem like it's crooked (like it's leaning to one side or the other), just have to be watchfull of that, that's all. It seems okay now.

A few observations:
- that end of forest is just a bit too clean, unless it's a man planted forest, it's usually not that straight of a cut
- the part at the end of the forest, after the first hill lines, what is that? I just don't get what it is, a dust cloud with a ridge at the top or what? And it's almost in the middle of the screen as well
- one thing to watch out when drawing clouds (well most of the time), at least I try to make the both ends of them be in the same height otherwise the cloud looks crooked, like it is here. And add more of them.
- try making/sketching boulders as if they're made of separate circles/clumps (you can make them sharper in the final drawing if you want), it will also make it easier to shade and paint, because you probably know how to shade a basic ball
- add more things, add another rock somewhere, more blades of grass here and there add logs around the fireplace (like for sitting around it), add tree stumps, flowers
- one thing about the trees, they generally look ok, but what might make much better is... hold on let me find a tutorial *sound of googling* ...there it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLieqskA3eY - you can draw your own leaves, but watch how he positions them on a tree, he makes smaller circles and draws leaves on the end of them, right now you're drawing fine, but some of your leaves just get too big, this is how you can make them more controlled

Hope that helps. You're doing fine with the new tablet.

About the shadows, instead of making shadows darker, just made them bigger in surface if you want to add drama.

About anatomy, my quick redraw suggestion - shorter torso, both hands are moved around a bit, hair around the eye, shoulder, placement of nipple and pectoral muscle is moved:

Hope that helps.

Difference being that "segue" actually is read same as "segway", while "queue" is basically read "q"

You know I'll give ya the plausibility of all Indy movie main plots being equally low, BUT the main premise is nothing compared to individual events that pile up stupidity, like the monkeys scene and that whole "we need to cut our way through the jungle" and then 5 minutes later having a race between two trucks through that same jungle.
I even thought the fridge/bomb section was ok. And the most important bad thing - Shia Labeouf, annoying actor and annoying and badly written character. Instead of making him smart but rash or maybe more like Jones Sr. character, nope, they made him into a rash annoying emo brat (which is what Shia usually plays anyway).

In Croatia it's mostly said like it's written, so GIF is "gift" without the "t" and we also usually read "jpeg" as y+peg and I know that one is clearly wrong, but on the .gif thing it's weird. We do it because it's kind of easier to understand when you're not talking in English. In general, the English language has some overcomplicated (well every language has it quirks) rules that just make the language so weird for beginners or non-frequent users, one of those rules is the "silent g" where it basically says you're supposed to say G very similarly to J, which is redundant to say the least.

For some reason I thought it was an Amber chronicles game (checked on MobyGames, there's just an 1985. game, so the graphics are not even close). Really should finish reading those books...
