Thickened the neck, it looked wierd at first but it fits a lot better; also the shading now gives the impression of a chin.

It's so refreshing to have someone who's making a game with a "pretty straight-forward plot, with as little characters and scenes as possible" as their first game instead of "OH MY GOD THIS GAME IS GONNA BE SO COOL ITS GONNA BE LIKE THE BEST EVER AND IM GONNA SELL IT AND WHOO (P.S. IM LOOKING FOR CHARACTER ARTISTS BACKGROUND ARTISTS MUSICIANS VOICE ACTORS PLOT WRITERS SPELL CHECKERS AND PROGRAMMERS TO MAKE THIS GAME FOR ME)"

Lol yeah I spotted that; it's the numbers that I'm not sure about.

Anyone feel like solving with me this little puzzle that evolve seems to have placed in his thread? At least, I assume it's a puzzle; he could just be fooling around to get attention for his game ._.

Hmm... first thing, lighten up on the drums! Especially the random cymbals. And the bass guitar made my head explode.

Next, the notes sound very randomly selected. Do you play a musical instrument? If not then you'll have to read up on a whole lot of music theory to find out how to remove the randomness.

Of course, there's a lot more I could say, but before you change these first two things anything else wouldn't have much effect.

Hmm... that's actually a very difficult background to draw characters, since it's way too good! You'd have a really hard time getting the shading and perspective to alter correctly.

Then again, if you really want to use it, I'd suggest a similar 'dirty' approach, with a character which changes messily as he moves along... like in animation where each frame doesn't look like it's been drawn on top of itself, giving the impression... well, you know what I mean. If you could do an idle animation using the same effect, and pull it off, then it would be stunning and original.

If you had linked to the png instead of the jpg then it would have worked fine

Ok, you know the drill. He's an office worker, he's my main character, he's low res, he's only the second character sprite I've ever drawn (and, for that matter, only the second full body person I've ever drawn), so a lot of criticism please I would especially like to know how it would be possible to make him more... attractive? After all, he's got to fall in love and stuff.
