Sounds interesting, but I have a question. I guess it has to do with the "story" part which is, as you say, not finalised yet. What would be the reason for the murderer to murder? Just cause he got the "murderer" card? There should be some other mission for him to need to complete (ie. the reason) by killing someone. If this is so, the placement of items should not only be randomised, but the elements of the story as well.
Also, would the other players be restricted to not being able to murder? Will they also be able to murder other people (even the murderer himself)? What is going to stop a player from taking all items and hiding them in some place by dropping them on, for example, a walkbehind?

Don't take any of my comments as meaning I think this is a dumb idea, its just constructive criticism for you to use to bring your idea to reality. It sounds like a great idea, I would love to see it implemented.

Whoa... I thought it was extremefineart. Whew.
(It's a porn-site)

You seem pretty knowledgeable about porn sites :P

Thanks for the site remixor. It was very helpful with my problem of drawing muscles and anatomy, but do you know of any site where there are reference photos with clothes? The finearts site had a link to another site (something like 3d.sk or something), but it turned out I have to pay for getting those photographs :(

Does anyone know of any site to get full length pictures of people that can be used as bases to draw characters. I mean, I usually use some image search, but sometimes you can't describe properly what you want. Is there some site that someone knows about with a large bunch of photographs of different type people that can be used as bases for characters?

General Discussion / Re:Let's get lucid
Fri 12/03/2004 09:47:32
I had my first lucid dream in a long time today! It was fun! I was floating around, as if I was swimming in the air, when I realised that what I was doing was not possible. So, I looked at my watch (remembering what was said in these forms about reality checks), which was a silly thing to do because it is not a digital watch. It was not there, which is not usual. Then I got this weird feeling of elation, and I realised that I was about to wake up, so I tried falling back and then spinning (another thing I read here), but it did not work, and my my vision kept switching from what I saw in from my bed and what I saw when I was asleep.
At last I woke up. My sister was there, so I started telling her what had just happened. She was ignoring me and acting like I was stupid, which was weird again. Then, I woke up AGAIN! This time it was real. The dream was weird, like I was controlling a puppet instead of myself

Right now I am listening to Tupac: Hit 'em up. I dunno.. I am just in the mood. I was listening to "California Love" of his before.
I like System of a Down too, but I don't know about their ideas, I just think their lyrics are crazy, as well as their videos. Perhaps I don't have the depth of understanding to recognise the profoundness of their music  ::). Then again, I just listen to music for entertainment.

A nice frothy blue cup of milk ;D.
BTW, doesn't Mt. Dew kill sperm cells or something like that? I have heard stuff like that about it since I remember it being sold here.

Wooooo! I can see into the past! I had no idea of a previous Philosophical thread (or who Davy Jones is, although I know about his locker), but I sensed a looming question about.....solipsism!. And I did not even know about the word before this thread! I had to look it up on the net, bacuase my philosophy professor is mad at me since I dropped his subject :(. Also, there should be a ton more of jokes referring to The Hitch-hikers Guide to the galaxy. That book is the cradle of Philosophical thought! Sorry for the inconvinience! oohhhh.. Oh yeah. I hearby declare myself a solipsist. None of you exist. I don't even know why I am telling you this, as you don't exist. Oh well....I guess it appeases my sense of emotion

Read Stephen Hawking, man. Either it will lead you to a new way of thinking about the way the universe, time etc, work, or it will give you a huge headache.
Interesting choice of a topic.... I guess my "deepest" philosophical idea is of the balance of all things, how everything complements everything else in such a complex way, creating all we see around us. It's like we are completely insignificant in the ultimate working of the universe. Gazillions of years after the end of the human race, the universe would still be continuing without the slightest hitch.
I had a philosophical type question too. What is the name of theory that disproves that all we see is an illusion (as in Haddas is an illusion, this pc I am typing on is an illusion, what I am seeing is an illusion, and all that exists is me, who is getting a constant input of information). I read somewhere that it was one of the possibilities of existence, until someone disproved it in a perverse twist of logic
Ok, I'll get back to my pot now..... ;D

Hey! You went all the way to Egypt three years ago and did not even come to see me????? I used to live there. I lived right on the Corniche(sp?), next to the American and British Embassies.

Although the "King Tut" tomb was kind of a disappointment. The tomb was so tiny! I find it amazing that there are entire WINGS of the Cairo Museum dedicated to the treasures found in that tomb.
Thats because that it the only one they found which had not been robbed. Something about how it was hidden because it was just under another tomb. Tut was otherwise not a very important king. He was just a kid when he died. See? In all my time in Egypt, at least I learnt some Ancient history ;D. Most of it just passed over my head.
I even have a mini-pyramid. I see no way to open it though. Better not to anyway, its one of those sno-globe things that you shake.

General Discussion / Re:The dreamer's thread
Thu 19/02/2004 13:34:15
I had an incredibly weird and memorable dream yesterday. I wrote it down the moment I woke up, so I can kind of remember it. Me and my partner were in some kind of bomb squad unit, and had got to some building (that looked vaguely like my college), and had to disable- and get ready for the ultimate weirdness-SNOTBALL BOMBS! ???. We had to blow on them or something until they disappeared.  Then someone started tossing them at us from over a wall. We ran to the other side to find out who it was, but all we found was a pizza box with some pills and a few slices.
Sometimes I realise in my dreams that it is only a dream, and then I try to experiment. I had an ice cream in one dream, and I thought that if this is a dream, I would not be able to taste it. However, when I was about to lick it, it leaned forward and licked me! And no...I did not wake up to find my dog slobbering me ::) . Another time my legs were glued to a train track, and I realised it was a dream, so I stuck my hands in my pocket and found a toffee.... I started to suck it, but I woke up before I could taste it.
Flying is fun in dreams! Even in dreams though, I understand that flying is not possible. I just realise that I can rise up and swoop around. Then I go around some familiar area, mocking others at how stupid they are that they don't get that they can do this too. It is so vivid that I even try it in real life...doesn't work though :(

General Discussion / Re:Name help
Thu 19/02/2004 12:00:51
Thanks for the quick replies! My character now has a name- Yamaishi (stone mountain). As for the desert birthmark, the chinese symbol seems a little too complex to be a birthmark. Dunes would be a good idea, but they might be confused with the wavy line water birthmark or upside-down V mountain birthmark. Adding heat lines would again make it slightly too complex to be a plausible birthmark. I was thinking maybe a spikey circle to represent the sun...? Then again, that might be a little too obscure. A cactus would be an good idea, but I can't think of how I would draw it. Perhaps the common fork shape, with jagged edges for spikes?

General Discussion / Name help
Thu 19/02/2004 11:12:45
I need help obtaining a name for a character in my game. It needs to be an oriental style name that has something to do with mountains/rocks/stones or stubbornness/hardyness/dependability. Like Yasmin/Jamine means a flower-which has something to do with nature. It would be nice if it is relatively well known (like the Yasmin/Jasmine name). I know some sites where you can get names and find out their meanings, but none where you have meanings and need a name. Also, could someone please help me get think of a shape that represents a desert. Like an upside-down V can represent mountains, or a wavy line can represent water. It needs to be something plausible for a birthmark. I would be really grateful for any help

I rarely ever have nightmares, and its not very often that I have dreams that I remember. Sometimes I had nightmares where there was nothing at all to scare me but I was still terrified. One of my weirdest nightmares was flying through a castle being chased by a wizard guy and chasing a witch while throwing table knives at her. Then I was suddenly outside, in my neighbourhood, flying while drinking chimpanzee milk out of a box, while the wizard who was chasing me was riding a bicycle under me, giving evil looks towards me.
Once in a while I have a dream, and then a long time later something is happening in real life, that is the same as the dream, and I can recall whats going to happen next a moment before it actually happens.
Okay... you can now all comment how incredibly crazy I am.

hmmm...aside from having a little too much time on your hands you seem to have a streak of creatively psychotic behaviour. Who else could think of Guybrush spitting trout? those are some crazt shots...but I think they would have looked better if you did them in the same resolution as the games

I feel terrible  ;D. I am the victim of a "pity" valentines card ::). I got an anonymous card put in my backpack today. The sender claimed to be "tantalised by by BIIG sexy glasses" and my "brainy mind"  ???. It just got me annoyed. Probably wants me to do their homework for them :).
