judging by the photos, they are 32/16 bit colors, which i dont like, so i changed them into 256 col.

the reason while the other grew is probably the format, change it and i think it will get smaller

i would recomennd making a 256 col game (althought it can be a little hard) they are smaller in size (the game)

The sand is a little empty, i would recomennd adding maybe a cactus or a snake, other than that, it is good

If you wan't it to be wichy, you could add some things like:

* Skeleton head
* Potions
* frogs, and lots of them

and some more to make it EVIL

You see, i am 15 years old, but my brotheres were MASTER of finding games....

Mines are:

1. Final Fantasy 7
2. Tales of Destiny 2 (Tales of Eternia)

and all the games i played with my older brothers, now i am only alone.... Everyone is grown up, and i am the only one left in the family playing these games.... sometimes i want to cry :'(

Final Fantasy has always been the BEST game i have played, i really felt in the game and cryed at sad parts (like the end of Disk 1)

THen there are all the DOS games, like CIV, Monkey Island 1 & 2, Minebomber (now that was a GREAT game ) and MUCH more

You are not allowed to cheat in this thread, everything here must be made from a scratch and is not a cheat version, cause that ASCII image of yours is just your avatar, using eithver the internet or a program to change it

How can I make it that the player character looks like he's walking across the screen? I'm really stuck.

I like yor work so far

some chainges to be maked (RED are the ones that are important):

1. He is standing in a Salute way, make him a little "comforable"
2. The arm is a little strange around the elbow that really irritates me
3. Lose the black outlines around the skin on the left arm
4. His chest around the "breast" is a little boxy change this
5. I dont like the crotch, it's strange

other than that, it's good these are the main things to be changed

I dont like how they stand, when i stand, i try to be in a comfortable position, they look like they are saluting someone, make them a little comfortable
