This is crying out to be expanded into a fuller game!

I didn't understand the thing that dropped out of the sky either...

I really hope you carry this project on! Cool beans!

I always assumed this game was a hoax all along...

I can't quite manage a REASON they'd hoax it up... perhaps to keep interest in their game between interations?

I'm convinced most games that get "canned" are just hoaxes. Why would it be that all the best games never get made? They MUST be hoaxes.

I feel he's moved on from our poor little community. And I just wanted to be his friend...

If only I could think up a decent "I'm still Phillip from the block" Pun for him, only about AGS as well, then maybe, just maybe, he'll release it as his new single, and come back to be our friend once more...

I genuinly DO feel sad that we never hear from him any more!! How weird is that!?!!

Oh man, Phil Reed Vsc had WAAAY too much of an ego problem, and he never used to help anyone out, and was always going on about how games should be better. And he was always like "I'm the most important person in this community because I've made SOO many games!!!"

naturally I jest. Phil Reed is my son.

I think the reason there are so few female lead characters is because most people who make computer games aren't able to aproach character development in a mature way without sarcasm etc etc. Hence (thanks to the obviously HORRIBLE people like Darth) we get loads of under-developed characters with overdeveloped characteristics (hello Jill of the Jungle!)

Thankfully we have those marvelous conservors of morality like EvenWolf to guard us from naughty imature folk. And from discussing the female role in computer games! Go Thought Police!

I heard that EvenWolf beats someone up with a urinal in the new film... is this true?!

First you say you can't draw, then you say you can draw stick men! THAT sounds like a contradiction in terms to me!!!

Just draw it baddly for mum's sake! GET ON WITH IT!

wow. For a newbie, evenwolf takes his role round here REALLY seriously!

what on earth makes you think that the majority of people on a forum based around a programming language/software development package are paintballers?!?!?!?!?!

What, in fact, makes you think that even half the people on this forum EVER step outside during the day time, excpet to go to mittens?

What a surreal and brash, although optimistic, assumption!!!

anyway. I'm too chicken to go paintballing, even though I've always kinda' wished I wasn't.

I HAVE done a bungee jump though, and that was imense!!!

isn't this the show with man-eating blackness...

Anyway, don't worry about no arty talent. If it's a good game, people will enjoy it even if it DOES look nothing much like the cartoon it was based on. Then if it's a big success, you'll easily find peeps who'd volunteer to re-do the art, allowing you to re-release the game to a second (probably even bigger) round of applause...

take it from me, games REALLY don't have to be pretty to do well round here (in fact, most of the pretty one's are pretty crummy beyond their good looks. People tend to either write a great game OR draw nice pictures. I think Kings Quest VGA is the only real exception to this rule, and I never likes Kings Quest anyway)

My house mate showed me this site a while ago!
It's so funny! I love the casino banner at the top.

I stand corrected. Operation Condor is the greatest Chan film ever. I love the sequece with the bizar fan (that I can't even begin to remember why it was there really).

YAY!

I can't relate to THAT at all. Maybe you should grow a beard. Beards solve EVERYTHING.

Wouldn't this game be un-downloadably huge?

I got stuck with The Surprinsing Chinchilla of Fate because it was too big to upload anywhere, and that didn't have more than 60 rooms! (hell, I don't think it even had 60!)

I'm not going to set up a computer games company. It's not even an option really. I'm just gonna' make games and look at making a little bit of money from them in different ways. I mean, there's definatly a market for independant games direct from the makers (kind of at a local scale perhaps).

Did anyone see "Armour of God" (or however it's spelled)? That was the BEST Jackie Chan Movie EVER. I NEED those shades to go with my new jeans...

Again, another point missed!

"guys" don't "discuss topics"... They "Talk shit"!!! Less brainwork and more laughs, plus we get promoted before birds do!

DRUGS!!! WOO WOO!!!

Blade Runner's the best film-based-on-a-game in my opinion. Although the game must have been in development for AGES since they screwed up the release dates LOADS!!! The film came out WAAAAAY too early!!!!

naturally I jest. But I didn't think Tomb Raider was as bad as everyone said it was.
