I DIDNT say that :-[, i just said i would be hard to give the character his own character (if that makes sense). It has a lot of potential, but it has to be done correctly. So far what you've done looks great and the intro is SWEET :o, but take care in the slime's attitude.

Thinking bout it isnt there a way in the interaction editor for a hotspot to make any click as interact? i will have to set it as walk to, then do the pick up animation or what ever. thats it (gives himself pat on back)

Dang the zip file is too old :( But the script is a great help , i dont suppose there are any newer ace2game files with this gui are there :-\

Right what you do is : get whichever music file you want,copy it,pase it into the game folder, name it music1 or music3 or whatever, righ done, then to enter it into AGS you load room editor and click on the room setings tab, then you will see a box which says play music on room load [ ] in the box you enter the number of the music you named, test game and then thats it ;D

P.S if you name the music music0 then it will allways load at the start of the game without needing a prompt.

Is there a way on AGS so that double left click on a hotspot will use hotspot. ???

Hi all    :)
i really need to know how to make an interface where there is a pop-up inventory at the bottom of the screen with inventor scrollers. Also i want it so that when you right click it looks at, and double left click is use? Also i want single left click to be walk.

Its a lot to ask but i really need to know, pleese

Hello

YEh they are bullet shells, that screen is not really in the game it was just a test shot to see what people would think about art. MY proper screens are a lot more cartoony. In the style of Sam and MAx.

Beginners' Technical Questions / Verb Coin

Hi everyone, i just wanted to know wether theres a good tutorial for making a decent verb coin interface like on ILB 'what time is it'. I downloaded an open sorce verb coin but it wasnt quite what i wanted ( it was only three option, and it allways appeared even when not on a hotspot).

Any help would be greatly apreciated ;D

You know what it may sound stupid but im guna keep my drawings simple from now on, no more 1 pixle lines  too close together. then i wont have the problem :) simple huh. thanks for all your help.  

plus i would rather have a game in the style of Permanant Daylight (best AGS gsme ever) than err say I.G fate of atlantis.  ;D

Sorry to dissapoint my fans (can i call them that)
but im going to have to change my backgrouns styles. :(
You see if i add too thin lines then they mess up when they
are tested on AGS. I am working on a style like permanant Daylight at the moment.

The pics will be up on the site soon. :)

yeh its totally different , in pain if you zoom in like x 300 all the lines get bigger x3 but when your pic is zoomed in test game the lines enlarge but some more than others.

trust me i'm not STUPID i know what im on about.

It tends to be only the one pixle lines that are close together that go REALLY this, its strange. NE way ive decided to redo my backs so that they are simple with not too much detail, like Permanant Daylight (the best AGS game ever).

I have also noticed this in other games such as purity ots and even PD?

so i thought it was summit to do with my screen (im working on a laptop) but im not sure.

ahh well it ooks like im going to have to change my style. :(

Sorry i cant get a bmp on the site ahh wel if you look at the shooting range there is a kind of grid of grey lines, these are what some of them get bigger?

i tried what you said s.s.h but it still happened. the strange thing is that when i took a print screen the pic the pasted pic was normal ???

this must mean that it is a problem with AGS?
