...with this kind of short 'adventure game'. You are being warned: LOTS OF PIXEL HUNTING YOU WILL HAVE TO SORT IF YOU CLICK THIS LINK. Enjoy :).

For those who asked about the paint remover, you have to...

Spoiler
...open first the paint remover, it's not quite exactly like the original game, where you could use it directly

The game looks a quite massive project, I applaud LucasFan for his efforts in remaking the game, although such a big game like this has its problems:

Spoiler
When I was repairing the cables in the hidden door next to the man-eating plant, I switch the breakers off, and with the old batteries tried to fix the cables. Of course, the batteries went dead, and the character told me so. But when I tried to do something else, the game aborted telling me the active inventory wasn't in the character's inventory.

The game looks pretty cool, but with the type of bugs I found, I couldn't play it anymore, I just got out the original one and finished it (with Michael and Bernard).

You could hunt an old version of Flash (5 or earlier)... I've been using Flash since version 5 (currently exploring MX 2004), and almost no changes have been made to the graphical tools, so you will be pretty fine creating graphics with it.

Well, thanks for the comments Primus :), I'm glad you liked the game. I'll check the bug you reported...

Shouldn't be CJ 'apprecchiated' instead of appriciated?

I use GetRight at the moment. Although there was a time I also used Download Accelerator...

They're both cool, the first one is shareware, with nag windows. The other  (basically) shows you ads while you're downloading stuff.

Another hint...

Spoiler
He won't dye the mop if he has it on his hands, because he doesn't want to get his hands dirty with that. You have to do all that on his chair. You don't need to open the janitors' closet.

If you'd like to receive more hints, this thread has the hints of the game. Use this thread to comment about the game. Thank you :)

Spoiler
You have to make yourself a scarecrow... You should find all you need to do it around the place.

A less subtle hint

Spoiler
It needs a body, head, hands, face and hair.

- it's not a crappy game (Hey, I have my proud, too!)

lol... how would you measure a game's crappiness? that would help with reviews :)

Welcome to the forum, Scorposer!

EDIT: On a more serious note, I think it's a bit strange that you're asking to compose music on a finished game. I'm one of those who think that music composing should be done with the early stages of production of the game (after you've written the plot, when you're creating graphics)

lol... actually he'd only travel to Egypt... the pyramids are the only standing 'Ancient' Wonder these days... he'd have to play FoA to see something else ;) (Sorry, it was stronger than me :P)

Ok, jane. I though juju had a point, because the Linux AGS port is not detecting the english translation...

How do I finish scarecrow? I've made head and face. Also what do I use mysterious sticks on? I've tried nearly eveything.

Spoiler
Check the head has black hair. Also, the sticks can't be fixed there with some kind of glue.

Nowadays you get to it from the Links page on the website - perhaps it should have a more prominent position?

I was thinking of pinning up here in this forum. That way new newbies can put their flags... And some day we can take over the world.

lol... the first frame of each loop that conforms your walking cycle is the standing frame... you put those at the first position and voilà!

About coloring the mop head, I'm stuff there too, i cant even get the mop head on the "scarecrow"

You can't put the mop over the head because it's hardened... Try softening it with something.  :)

Regarding that...

Spoiler
You don't need to make the guard get out of the room. You need to leave a replacement in your office, that will make like you still were there.

General Discussion / World map... lost!
Tue 06/01/2004 12:38:35
Hi. It seems that the world map that CJ created some months ago got lost in the middle of thounsands of messages. Would it be possible to pin in the forum the address to it?

The idea was cool, but all the rush and all the hype lasted just a dozen messages. :P
