Nice logo. Good luck replacing all the placeholders.

I vote for newwaveburritos.

I decided to take a little break from my standard EGA palette madness and use the Gameboy palette and resolution which is really tough!
The masochism of this man!  8-0

I vote Creamy as well! :) Care to share the background story to that hole? I'm curious!  :-D
Notice the phone cord going into the hole? I believe this is the work of...The Anticommunicator!
(laugh)
It took at least a conference call to make him this angry.

Really cool pic which takes on a new life the moment you notice the 'recording' indicator.  ;-D
Thanks milkanannan.

I was pleasantly surprised with Clip Studio Paint artistic filter which saved me the trouble of inking this picture - except for a few corrections.

Ok, time to move on.

The game was Zero Zero by the late Theresa Duncan. She released 2 other children games before this one: Chop Suey (1995) and Smarty (1996).
They're quirky and adorable.

Following a successfull Kickstarter campaign, they were made available to play on browser by Rhizome. Too bad it's jerky - on my computer at least.

The next round is up for grabs.

It's a game for little girls that was physically released in 1997. You could call it an interactive storybook.

QuoteMilkmaid of the Milky Way? I'm sure it's not, but it's the only game I can think of with milkmaids.
No but that's a good one.

QuoteOver the Alps?
No. It looks like a nice interactive story.

The first picture was a red herring  :P

Maybe this will help you more:

Then it's mine! MINE!

Jim Reed at his usual best: clean, effective and practical.

I put mine in spoiler tags because of the violence involved:

QuoteThat King Charles one is cool (reminds me of something but I can't put my finger on it). Is it just me or are the lyrics a bit cringe? (laugh) I don't really know that artist. Is it supposed to be a bit tongue in cheek?
I guess so. The lyrics in Mississippi Isabel seem silly too.

I like Belle and Sebastian.

Musicals anyone?

Thank you for the suggestion. I failed to read it on time, sorry. Can I set it for September?

I think the biggest challenge with traditional  art is to animate the sprites and to integrate them convincingly in the backgrounds.

Neither did I. It's mostly my fault since

there's a peculiar noise when you open that drawer that I didn't notice at first.

But I'm still stuck:

I probably need the sponges to scrub the charcoal marks. I can think of a thousand ways to get them - the fishing rod, the broom,... - but of course that's not THE correct way to do it

Congratulations on the release.

To make life easier for your players, I'd consider telling them that they can go faster by double-cliking (or make it the default speed).

I got as far as  Ian Aloser above.

Don't feel like searching every screen if it's a bit of a pixel hunt

Oh right, I missed the first page of this thread. I suspected it was so but in this kind of games we're so accustomed to things being there for a reason that a useless room struck me as odd.

Nice logic puzzles. I just wish a story was unveiled to reward my progress.

Spoiler
As in Selmiak's video, I got the normal ending after I drank coffee. The secluded room makes me wonder if there's a way out. Yet I haven't found anything to dig through the rubble or break the door down. By the end of the game, I only have 3 plastic eggs

QuoteI downloaded the game the other day and was enjoying it very much. However, I died at a particular point and the 'load game' dialogue came up but there were no saves to choose from even though I had saved the game several times before this point. Is this a bug or a feature?
The loading menu in the game over screen doesn't work. However when you die, you can restart and load your game from the title screen.
