Wait a minute... serial killer, picture of a man in what appear to be in a dress.

Is it one of the many Psycho films?
Psycho?
Psycho II?
Psycho III?
Psycho (remake)?
Bates Motel?
Psycho IV: The Beginning?

Wow, I finally read through that monster of a story.
And in short, there was way too much filler for my taste. Not description filler thankfully, but still filler none the less.

An overall good story though, and very well written, with just the right amount of mind-f**kery.
So yeah, thanks for the read. :-D

By the way, I loved the symbolism in how you named things. Noah and the Ark, brilliant. ;)

QuoteSome reasults are pretty cool, but still this fucking devalues the artist. the human spirit imagines these artworks and creates it by hand and the machine just eats it.
I agree.
Advanced technologies like that make the work of a physical artist cheaper. So as the result artists don't have a choice other than using all these new tricks to save the time and earn more money. Seems it's an unavoidable process.

Those darn machines keep taking our jorbs!
Dey took our jab! (laugh)

Personally, I don't think this type of software will be replacing actual artists any time soon.
After all, you still need two pictures to make the picture you want. Not only that, but it can't make something unless you have a picture of it.
I mean, let's say you want it to make a nice futuristic picture with a flying car in the background. What do you do? Pass in a picture that someone else drew that already contains all of that? Not only does that sound wrong (using someone's work without their permission) but you still require an artist to have drawn that picture in the first place. And since it would have already been drawn, why not just use that?

As far as I can tell. This will merely be a tool to supplement the creation of art.

You are now my new favorite GiP author!
If I'm not mistake, he's the only person who has ever read the forum rules before starting a new thread.
I'm legitimately impressed. 8-0

Hmm... but can it handle pixel art?
Or you know... pseudo pixel art.

Well even if it can't, this is some pretty interesting stuff. I do wonder how far we'll be able to push it though.

Never seen this game before, but the gameplay looks familiar.

Really nice artwork, and very interesting premise.
I'll be keeping my eye on this one. :-D

and machete !
because the ammunition are not unlimited and it's better in the melee ... even for irradiated zombies! :)

Who needs bullets. You can usually just wave a gun around and people will do whatever you ask. (laugh)

Is there a time-limit where I have to just say what it is?

Nah, no time limit. Just keep giving more hints and screenshots. :-D

The actress looks really familiar, and I'm fairly sure I've seen the guy as well.
I think I might have seen the movie, but so far nothing's coming to mind.

Ooh, that is beautiful.
That new artist really has a way with colours and texture.
The flame is a little flat though (but I'm guess it's a placeholder for something animated).

Mandle, when I first started reading that, I thought it was an entry. Until I got to the end, and I figured out you were telling a story that actually happened. (laugh)

The whole "weird coloured food" thing, reminds me of something from when I was a kid. I remember shops selling ketchup that you could buy in an assortment of colours. Obviously it didn't catch on, because no one sells them anymore.
Though when I was younger, I always wondered what they tasted like (apparently they just tasted like normal bottles of ketchup), but now that I'm older, I'm always wondering what kind of idiot came up with that idea.

I just want to add, that I tested that test-build with some pretty old AGS games.
And... it had some really odd effects.

This is what the text was supposed to look like:
[imgzoom]http://orig08.deviantart.net/e59c/f/2016/102/c/1/supposed_to_look_like_by_danvzare-d9ynkh5.png[/imgzoom]

And this is what it ended up looking like:
[imgzoom]http://orig01.deviantart.net/5c80/f/2016/102/e/8/actually_looks_like_by_danvzare-d9ynkhb.png[/imgzoom]

Of course, I think there's more than one problem going on here, just because of how old the game is. But still, I thought I'd bring it to someone's attention.
#3555
Can you give us the room script for room1 as well.
From there, we should be able to figure it out. :)
#3556
Because that's a mannequin, I'm over here.
Why are you glowing?
#3557
If I had to take a wild guess at what the problem is (and trust me, this is a wild guess, since you've not given enough information), I'd say that somehow you've ended up with that certain hotspot calling that door's look at function, and now that the door (and its function) is gone, the game is unhappy that it can't find the function.

But like I said, its just a wild guess. A shot in the dark.

Like Gurok said, we need to know the error message you received.
#3558
Personally, I really like this one, and can't wait to join it.
I just need to clear my schedule a bit first. (laugh)
#3559
Wow, that was a really brilliant story and really piques my curiosity.
I kinda want to start sprouting theories now. :-D

I'm running away because there's a ten foot spider behind you.
