You are free to do whatever you want people. But it's going to be a long trip from Barcelona to Alicante.

Grund and I are from the US, remember? We generally consider a long drive to anything greater that 8 hours :P It's just four hours to get to Alicante from Barcelona by train. If I were to drive to my brother's house it would take 6 1/2 hours, and we live in the same state ! :D

Perhaps a van then, which would prove more useful in Benidorm anyways. We expected to pay â,¬47.40 for a single ticket on the Euromed (Barcelona > Alicante) and fly back from Alicante, but if we hire a van from Barcelona and the current five of us chip in the money we would spend on a return train ticket (â,¬379.50), we could have the fun of traveling independently and have a vehicle for Mittens activities. I'm not sure how much that costs in Europe though  :-\.

Magintz and I are up for this, we will already be in Barcelona when you arrive, and I personally have nothing against adding an extra day to my trip :D. Count us in.

I have been playing this around three times a day for the last week. A little repetitive even at only 1.33 minutes, but still funny enough and I think slightly hypnotic.

Oh, and PARENTAL ADVISORY for foul-ish language :D

Why doesn't the art style suit Bone? All the backgrounds (pretty much) are lookalikes of panels from the comic!

I fiercely disagree. The only way I can tell this is a Bone game past the thread's title is the (I'm guessing that is Phoney's) black shirt with yellow star.

I recommend that you either wait until you can find a practiced artist or spend a bit more time on your art. You can't convince me that you spent any quality time making that. Sure you're not the best artist, as you agree, but rushing only makes matters worse.

Also...quadruple posting? is that a record? Again, I must point out the 'modify' link in the top right of your posts.

Right. That's...cute.

Here are the "required" screenshots (more to come later):

Do you feel that it is unfair to require production proof and promotion images?

thank you all for your criticism and speculation. Here's why I'm making this game(even though I'making other games):

1. I have PLENTY of spare time and am free all the time.
2. I finished another game and posted on recruit a team for
people's voices for the talkie version of that game. I didn't post for a team to help me.
3. I stopped doing the Indiana Jones and Brian Jacques game projects.
4. SO, that leaves a lot that I can do.
5. My PC doesn't have a 3d accelearator card and so it can't play the 3d bone game.
6. I love Bone.
7. Whoever it was that didn't know why the Bone cousins got run outta Boneville, GET A LIFE!
8. No offence :)
9. I always wanted to do a Bone game, even before the 3d game came out, heck, even before I HEARD of the 3d game.
10. A prequel does sound like a good idea. MAybe I'll even tie in a prequel to the actual game.

2, 4, 7, 8, and 10 aren't reasons :D.

oh, and
11. I HATE 3D adventure games.  :=

Every post you see that you authored, there is a "modify" link in the upper right corner (as long as you are signed in) right next to the "reply with quote" link. This link is your friend, and will save you from potential verbal abuse if used correctly :P.

A prequil would be good, the charactors are endearing, and it would be fun to see WHY they got tossed out of boneville.

I believe that the comic book (yes, the BOOK) has already spelled out quite clearly why the Bone cousins were run out of Boneville.

I was thinking today about how cool it would be to have thermal vision, but that's another thing I could really have if I don't spend for a month. That would give me more of a fighting chance against my predators than just my kick boxing and intimate knowledge of the alley system and underground tunnels alone. No matter how well they hide, their body heat would give them away :D. WHAM!

* King's Quest IV VGA (unknown)

No updates since July 2004, and I heard from a seperate source (AGDI boards I think) that it was cancelled long ago. Pity, it looked nice.

EDIT: Apparently someone else is trying their luck with it. Check it out here.

My first thought for a desired superpower was to be able to kick ass like River Tam, but I realise I could just train really hard, and I can already kind of kick ass anyways (I got an A in kickboxing :D), so I should choose another..

I suppose teleportation would be next, I would spend all day doing cool acrobatic tricks and stuff. If I could get my hands on a decent space suit with life-support for once, I would venture into outer space stutter-warp style \o/.

Can I bring my yeast monster? He's not an AGSer, but I'm really starting to get the feeling that he would be more than welcome.

Heya Nacho,

You can put Gary and I down for definite, we have already made some reservations. Now if nothing crazy happens to me in the next 10 or so days before I buy my plane ticket, and if Gary isn't abducted by aliens, we ought to be there on the given dates :D.

Dream World:
What if the real world merged with the dream world? Meet a teenager who has a love for  movies and comics but one day finds himself waking up with a object from his dream and soon figures out that something is not right when some things don't appear the way  there suppose to.  Now on a quest to seperate two worlds that were never suppose to meet,  dealing with dreams has never been so complicated. As this happens the teen can't help but think is this his doing or something else...

Sounds like you could just do an adaptation for Nightmare on Elm Street 1 + 2 :P. Nancy Tompson had the ability to take objects from her dream, in the end taking Freddy himself into the real world. That led to the first sequel, where he was no longer just in the dream world.

Being a fan of both thrills and wildlife/nature, I am interested in the top two park options, Terra Mitica and Terra Natura. I'm not quite sure the group would want to sqeeze 4 park visits into a week though, that would likely disrupt conversation times and cut into valuable 1kbwc time... I think 2 would be good, not including that attached waterpark. Then again I am merely one of ~20, I will go along with concensus no matter what :P.

General Discussion / Re: Juggernaut
Tue 28/02/2006 06:32:23
Eh, the Juggernaut video is good for a chuckle.  I think I laughed until I turned red for the first 30 seconds only, mostly because of the absurdity of it all and the voices, not just what they were saying.

The "actors" had to have either been bored, high, or severely lit in order to do this :D.

Who the hell drew Joe the Stool smiling?!?!  >:( That's against the Joe rules.

*crosses his arms to puctuate his anger*

I'm going with popular opinion on this. Quest for Glory's exploration value, not to mention it's replayability several times over even as the same character class puts King's Quest to sleep.

I never knew this was in dispute :D.
