No, you can't delete characters and you export characters to .cha file.

I think what you meant was "look at box" and "look in box" and you want them to be different. Right? But yes, sometimes words like those don't make any sense like "look in paper" etc.

Uhh...hmm, these days people forgot to search the forums on this kind of topic. I did a topic on this in the Beginners Technical Forum you know...
Here's the link:

Hey >:( how many queries do your internet execute? I hope I am not missing something.
#125
No, I have a jpg on my sig and it scrolls so it has nothing to do with gif. Hmm, I think me and Farlander are the only ones that has scrolling sigs.

The only problem I am having is that clicking any button will do nothing.

Maybe you have a slow computer or internet connection?

Are you sure, I have about 56K modem and the the time it took to load this page (the reply page I mean) is 0.15 seconds. Here is a screenshot in case you don't believe me (don't say I cheated because I didn't(I am bad at doing text)):

Shudder, I remember the time I was scared of ghosts (unexplained stuff). From that point on, I was aware of everything. Most of the time Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn't look like what I usually see (uh, hehe, Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

I just want a script for separate save and load GUIs.

Problem with site. AGA hasn't been online for a very long while though, so you wouldn't get instant recovery on the site.

Edwin Xie, my friend, I think you made the mistake of assuming you can easily program outside AGS because you've mastered AGS scripting. ;) Just because it's the same language, doesn't mean it's in the same country, so to speak.

I have discovered that C++ is easier to use when I discovered the use of AGS's scripting. Right now, I am trying to expand to even more difficult C++ scripting.

but once you know AGS you have a good starting ground for learning C/C++
Yes, Hotspot, it serves as a beginning for me.

He needs a compiler, they're out there, you just need to search for them in google or something.

Seriously, it isn't hard to find freeware apps. I have this philosophy of only helping people who are going to help themselves, otherwise you're just wasting everyone's time.

I have searched a long time on the internet to find some compilers, yet each time, I fail to find a compiler that best matches what I need; I need an easy, and under 5MB download file. I do not want some of those command promt ones like Microsoft Virtual C++ Toolbox. I can't even figure out how to use them with no documentation. I am considering Bloodshed Dev-C++ though.

I think your best bet would be getting DevC++ or a similar compiler and downloading the Allegro SDK. (Without one of those, you can't do much).
Allegro is as easy as it gets when it comes to real programming, and focuses on 2D. It can do some 3D as well, but doesn't support hardware rendering.
Hmm, Allegro? The library AGS uses?

Sorry if this post is very long, I had to catch up with those.

Man, I need a tutorial on how to use compilers one of these days, the "command prompt" programs are confusing.
#136
Uh, I downloaded that but there was this listbox error.

Ok, now I need to know what I can do after I put the stick up the manhole.

What do I do in the roof? It looks obviously like a storage room.....
#138
I do not mean that, I meant, that there isn't really a script I can find that can save or load, it's pretty complicated to find a script that does not refer to the Save/Load GUI.....maybe I can create a Save/Load GUI but block that one from any access.
#139
Bump
I added more useful scripts while learning more about scripting in AGS. I am currently working on Save/Load dialogs for the game and trying perfect everything for 5% testing..... I hope I would get more work done, I am still looking for a background artist. Calling all background artists!!!! ;D (At least they can do drawings like the style in the first post).

Did you click "save" or "save and run"?
