General Discussion / Re: Pester Quest 2??

I am not dropping the monkey island fan game, its on hold (like i said before). If you want to be in the game, could you give me a description of your personality (like how you act, if you get angry a lot ecc) and if possible a picture of yourself (give me an explenation of how you look if you dont have a picture).

Edit: A little off topic question, but how did they rip those backgrounds from "The Simpsons"? (The ones from the template ,that is).

Wait, if you dont have a pc, how did you start a game? Do you go to your friends house or something?

No, i just like the idea of making a game starring the people of this forum. I doesnt have to be Pester Quest, i guess i just used the name to give people an idea.

I dont need to know them personaly to make a game including them. If i know what they look like and know how they act, i could pretty much do it. I could make the game alone scince the ATC is open, but i would need some sort of description of you guys that want to be in the game (and if possible, a picture). If you cant help me with the games art, at least help me with this.

If you are talking about this:

I never said i was going to make a game, i said i was looking forward to making one.

Oh and do i need some sort of permission to make a sequel?

Edit: The green room was just for practice.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in this project. The game could feature more members of the ags forums, and have more rooms. I am willing to work on it if anyone else could help me with the art or something. I already have some funny ideas the would be great in this sort of game.

They get smaller because they are further away. I kept the same door from the other room (i didnt copy it btw) because it is the same door from the other room. It leads to that room, but as you can see that the design isnt the same.

Edit:

-Removed the outlines
-Added some shading
-Made the picture smaller and moved it down a bit
-Removed the picture
-Made the sofas more clear to see

How long has this game been in development? I remember seeing this about a year ago ( or a bit less ). It looks quite nice, and cant wait for it to be released.

As you can see, i used Aussie`s tutorial:

Unlike all my other art, i am quite proud of this, and am looking forward to making a game using this style. Id like to get some tips from Aussie, if he (or she?) can. The black things in the background are:
a) A curtain
b) A table with a pot and 2 candles
c) A tv

Very nice background, i like the style (it sorta looks like my style). Does Aussie post anymore, or is she/he gone? It would be very nice to get some tips from him/her.

I already know how to use layers, because i used flash for about 2 years (i used to do stickman movies back in the day) and thats how i usually learn stuff, by using them myself.

Can anyone please tell me how to change the line tool back from the arrow tool? I seem to have clicked on something and it changed to an arrow tool  :o. I tryed restarting the program but it stayed the same. I probably need to restore the settings to the default but i dont know how.
