Glad everyone enjoyed the game  :), I'm currently putting a bit of work into Knight's Quest (being the first one in the series). The game will be about twice as long as Knight's Quest III (if I can manage it) and may just fit into the Full Length Games Section! It's gonna take a while though, but I'm hoping to include some non-linear game play based around a much larger portion of Althador! Look out for it within the next year, lol.

Yeah I thought I'd do the series in a completely random order, still not sure where it will end. Anyway, Knight's Quest I is likely to be the next one done, if anyone has any suggestions, just let me know!

EDIT: Btw, if you want to leave me some comments under the games section on the AGS site it'd be really great. Also any votes so the rating shows up. Thank you...  ;D

New version now updated, sorry about 2.0, had a small error I'd missed.

It is the best show ever, and most certainly deserves its own topic in Off-Topic. I love that show, and am so proud that I was mistaken for Screech  :'(. So have a fish Dave.

Hehe thanks, the picture of God was not me though...someone far more deserving. First one to work it out gets a free fish.  ;D

Okay, bug reports have been fixed and new version uploaded, so please check it out. Any more mistakes  :P let me know. Thanks for everyone's input, been of great help.

Carimba, you have to return to the surface by standing on the green platform to the East. You need to find the Key.

Adrenalyn, you need to use the brain medication on yourself, but you need to inject it  ;) if that helps.

He's in the Frank area, in Crackton, if that helps.

The wizard is in the town, and as for the man you are meant to find, he's in one of the other areas. The other two characters just involve you exploring till someone explains what to do. As for the zombies, it involves the match from Roberto's inventory, a fire extinguisher and something you can find on the beach on the Palace Island  ;).

Thank you for the mirror, and apologies for the extremely crappy hosting, I couldn't find anywhere else to put it. Anyway, I hope this doesn''t put anyone off the game, as I spent a lot of time on it. So please give it a go!  ;D

Knight's Quest III is a story set between three different characters and three different realms. It tells the story of a King and his two best knights as they struggle to recover the three Pentagrams needed to defeat the mighty overlord, before he destroys all they hold dear.

Action is split between three countries: the freezing wastes of the Black Hand Republic, the quaint villages of Althador and the bizarre islands of Merania. YOU control the mighty King Althos, the useless Sir Frank and the overtly sexual Sir Roberto as they quest to save their beloved homeland.

Journey to amazing places, the ancient peak of the Guru, the canyon of a thousand Bandits and even the lost city of Crackton...

Download Here

Will you locate the Pentagrams and defeat the Overlord?

Knight's Quest III is the prequel to the (almost) critically acclaimed Knight's Quest IV, and follows on from two games that haven't been made yet. Prepare to immerse yourself in the customs and cultures of the Knight's Quest world, in a game that truly is fun for the whole family (except Grampa).

UPDATE:

The game is now fixed for bug reports and is currently hosted temporarilly (permanant hosting will be avaliable SOON). Please redownload as game may require new version for completion.Ã,  Thanks, happy gaming.

UPDATE 2:

Second version fixed, still waiting on permanant hosting, redownload if it suits you so, happy gaming to all!

Gee whizz that's awesome. It's really great to hear some feedback, I didn't get that much about the original. But I can tell you that this is much better by far. Funnier characters and some crazy puzzles. Just got to get the end sequence and it'll be finished and ready to be uploaded. Hopefully this one'll get more attention...

Thanks again for the support, you guys rock.

BTW, just to anyone who's interested, the original (KQ4) can be found here, please play it as it would make me a really happy bunny.

Thanks, works brilliantly.

The game is about 80-85% done, and is longer than the original Knight's Quest IV. All that remains is music, and end sequence, and the finishing touches. So let me know what you think, and get ready for the real game, which will (hopefully) be out within the next two weeks!

The game I'm working on has three different playable characters, and inventory has to be switched between them. When the player uses an inventory item on a phone-box-type-thing, a GUI pops up with the other characters on it. When the player clicks on one the following code is brought up:

character[MAN].inv[character[EGO].activeinv] =1;
LoseInventory (character[EGO].activeinv);

This is to transfer the inventory clicked on the phone box by the character EGO to the character MAN.

The code doesn't work though, and I can't work out why. The inventory item is lost from EGO's inventory, but does not appear in MAN's. Any help would be very enlightening thanks.

Don't know if this is the right forum for this...probabaly isn't but nyah well...

I'm in need of a Cedric (the annoying owl from King's Quest 5) sprite for the game I'm working on, but my copy of the game is completely out of it and I can't find a decent picture on the net.

Could anyone post a picture of him from the game, both in his relaxed position and with his wings unfurled? If anyone could do this I'd be sooooo grateful. He has a feature part in the game and I'm desperate...

Thanks in advance.

I'd recommend using the seeds somewhere behind the first door, near the front of the castle...it's a little unclear sorry. And you're not meant to go back through the second door after you've left, although if you're getting his boots and crown again hmmm. I'll have a look at that...
