Really cool looking game but I am dumber than most it seems, how do you solve the merry-go-round riddle?

I spent like half an hour on it...

You must be excruciately dumb to belive the moon landing to be a hoax..

Eat them,

it's a nutritious and everlasting free source of food for both you and your entire family.

Awesome game.

It was really fun.
#6
Why would you need to translate the game to even half of those languages. Every swede I know understand english fluently, and I bet most other european countries do too.
#7
I hope you all enjoyed the extra eleven hours I apperantly gave you, it was of course a giant medival steam powered robot that took the princes to his deep underground lair deep in a dark forest.

Therefore Evil clearly wins,

as none of the other entries even resemble a robot, your knights come home empty handed and you will have brought disgrace to your family name.

Evil may start the next competition.

My entry, it still needs some polishing

QuoteThe trend in graphic adventures since then has been towards simplicity of UI, probably for the better, but we still need to maintain the balance inherent in the fact that adventure games still are about trying to figure out what you can do.

I completely agree with this, which is why I'm not particularly fond of over-simplified interfaces.

I HATE over simplified interfaces,

hate

hate

hate

hate

An interface such as in the new sam & max games is horrible, there if anywere is a perfect example of a broken game.

This topic has been done to death ... but I'll answer just the same as I always do.

It's not the program, it's the artist.

A good program, is always a good program; even if ones drawing skills are limited to stick figures.
#12
none, but if you use more colours than 256 it better well look like it, otherwise I'll draw points from it.
#13
For simple pixel drawings there's in my opinion no program better than Idraw 3.32.1 (or some version of that)

But if you want other more advanced features there are lots, gimp is a very good free program that I use.

Oh no, someone or something has broken through the tower wall, to snatch the fair maiden living inside.

Just in front of your very eyes.

You only saw his hand but instantly you knew exactly who/what it was that broke through the wall, you must draw it so that your knights can find and bring back the girl before the others find out that your tower is empty.

You'd be made a laughing stock out of by the other kings and barons if your tower didn't contain a fair lady at all times.

This is what you saw:

If memory serves, the key-crown is
Spoiler
the crown you got from the circle of toads at Brynn Fann
[close]

Spoiler
If you don't have that yet, can you use your ring to transport out from the well, then travel to Brynn Fann
[close]

It's been a long time since I played it though, so I may be wrong.   8)

Thank you, man that was annoying..  ;D

sorry, I forgot.

[edit]

I might have kinda misunderstood the first post I think, if you want it posed in a way that is sepparated from the picture in itself I can't do that right now, no time.

Sorry.

I thought I would replay this game and I need help because I am stuck.

I went down the well at the end and freed the king gave him his soul back but forgot to bring the key-crown.

And now I can't get up from the well :)

Does anyone remember how that is done, it's probably very easy but I just can't figure it out. Any walkthroughs I've found just assumes that you did everything in the "wrong" order.

So it seems like Joel (even though he clearly cheated ;D) is a clear winner!

congrats, and feel free to make a new mockup themed compitition!
