It has worked with everything I've tried.

But that's not really a reason for saying "this man is unfit to become president!", just because he didn't respond to personal attacks? Where are the political reasons Kerry shouldn't be in office?

There seems to be a thread about it.

People should care less. Really. Not just in this case, but in all opinion-exchanging taking place over the Internet.

I for one learn much more effectively if there's a wise old man telling me about the stuff than if I read it in a book.

My first twelve years in school, I didn't do any homework and barely studied for the tests. And I did just fine, because I learned by listening.

Am I the only one?

I can answer for the Jester.

No.

It's just like a save/restore function in real life!

We need to make the Russians interested in this so NASA will have someone to race against.

QuoteHence, Beethoven's 2nd can be freely copied, but CMI can not.

Going slightly off-topic, but I just want to point out a big misconception made by a lot of people (I can't tell from your particular post if you know or not).

Beethoven's music is "abandonware" public domain (that's what it's called. I knew it wasn't abandonware, but I could not have remembered what it was even if my life depended on it. Cheers Radiant). You can record it and sell your recording without having to pay any royalties.

However, you may not copy a recording of someone playing Beethoven, because that recording belongs to the performer, and is protected by copyright like any other CD you see in the music store.

If it was stolen, some awesome telepathic extravaganza must have taken place, as I have never played and/or listened to Simon the Sorcerer 2.

What is a Photoshop Phriday?

Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images.

Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or any other programs can be used. Nobody reads this. You all suck.

See this link:

And for other examples, see here:

The two above websites should give a fair idea of what is involved.

PROPAGANDA ADVENTURE GAMES

What if Lenin would have had the technology to make an adventure game to inspire the Bolsheviks to join the revolution? What if adventure games were being made at the peak of the American anti-communist craze? WHAT IF?

It's time for you to use pictures to answer that question.

Photoshop... ACTIVATE!

Increator's post reminded me...
My computer used to shut itself down seemingly randomly when I had enabled automatic shutdown for when the cpu temperature reaches above 80 degrees C. Now I've run cpu temperature checkers and my CPU never goes above 50, so it definitely didn't get too hot, but somehow my bios decided it knew better than me. I turned the feature off and presto, no more problems.

So just in case, turn off all auto-shutdown features.

The humour cartel is displeased with your actions, Andail. If you keep it up, you might attract the attention of... The President of the Dark. You wouldn't want that to happen, would you? One day when you least expect it one of his goons might throw a pie in your face!

This... took far too much time to make.

I demand captions! Not written in a post, but drawn onto this very picture!

So apparently we won the silver medal in skeet shooting.

He would have won the gold medal, but the judges thought he was a "camp0r fag", so they let some Russian or something win instead.

I can vaguely confirm I'll be lending a helping hand to Andail. You can stop being enthusiastic about this game now!

(but seriously, those backgrounds look fantastic)
