Thanks for help! :D

Hi sipjezzy,
Spoiler
they kill you because they have time to do it... you're a vampire, remember!

Yeah, I wasn't able to replicate the bug. Must be the engine acting up, the code's so simple at this place that it can't fail. I made the game on Windows XP, now checked your savegame on Mac, and all is fine. :)

Yes, She's is full of both.

Hm, could you please send me your saved game? I'll check it and try to find a fix. This sounds almost impossible.

If its a bug, I also noticed one thing. When you goto to the store first time and you haven't got the money from the hotel clerk yet(you have about 4e left). (Assuming that you take the hotel lighter from the counter); Check all the items in the store and ask to buy all of them, and since you don't have enough money to buy them, give them all back. Then try to leavy and she suddenly asks for -1 or 1 euro, so i pay her and she fees me "minus 1" euro :) I dont know if thats a typo or what, but still.

Hahaha, this is the best bug ever! I wish my grocery had this bug. Well, the game's script is so huge I get lost in it myself, will investigate for the forthcoming patch.

Are you sure she's calm, not just full of blood? Calm is the upper indicator with the PSI symbol, light-blue.

Oh well, life's a bitch.
If you have entered the antique shop, though, and can still find a shred of will to bear with Donna for some more time, you can do what is described in this post and play on:

Hi, Kajlin,
Spoiler

Talko is irrelevant now, it's too early. Examine the driver's license you got off the thug.

Thank you - I'm happy that you enjoy the game!

As for your question, gentlemen...
Spoiler

Well, I suspect that Rightwell has some interesting info in his laptop, but even I couldn't guess his password -- and I'm the game's author -- so I don't think you should waste your time trying...  :-[ )

Exactly - you're too clever for this puzzle. :-)
Two digits form one number.
So there are six separate numbers.
BANDER.
1st number = 2, second = 1, 3rd = 14 etc.
Then you add and subtract from then according to the sequence displayed on the page.

@Saren -> well, the story's pretty much finished in both endings.
Maybe I will do something similar graphically, though, as my photo-manipulaton skills have evolved greatly during the making of D. Possibly it will be my first and last game, though. I need to concentrate on my writing.

@Nefarius -> about the endings:
Spoiler
well, of course I view the train one as "the real ending", too. Maybe it's more gruesome, but rather more uplifting than the vision of uncertain future on the island.

@Shadow -> thank you kind Sir for this in-depth review! You can't view the profanity and sexuality among the flaws, though, because they were intended and form the total effect of the game, it's not tits for tits' sake.

Also, thank you for the bugs report: I will iron them out in the next version, but please guys don't hold your breath, as there's nothing game-stopping there and I'm quite concerned with other pursuits.

Wiseawl,

Spoiler

When you click "detect" a second sound appears in background. Clicking +/- you adjust the scrambler's sound until it's the same as the one detected. Apparently it's the matter of the "musicality" of one's ear; I cannot guess them everytime and sometimes have to spend several minutes with the scrambler, but there are many people for whom it's a no-brainer and they solve it on the first try.

Shadow1000,

Spoiler

I think you haven't talked to everyone.
Some old friends?
Academic, clever ones?

As for the bugs -- please, do shoot, wherever you fancy. Maybe it'd be better taken to PM; if I fix them, newcomers to this thread might get confused.

Saren,

There's also a second line of work on that night.
Spoiler

Examine all the things you got from the bald killer at the beginning to investigate him.

As for Mulkin, well, he'll most likely be interested in what he taught at the Uni or researched, no? There are several possible topics, one very close to what you said.

Nefarius --
I'm not really good at receiving such praise, so I can only say - thanks a lot! :)

I've played only the computer version of Vampire: The Masquerade, but as for the vampire games I think I was mostly influenced by Bloodnet, an old crpg. It wasn't the biggest gaming influence, though, certainly less than Dreamweb or I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream.

As for the puzzles you didn't like...
Spoiler

Well, my interest in music is to blame ;)
But, actually, you don't have to use the scrambler at Romero's house.
Donna is already much stronger... for some reason...

Buddha is right, but
you have to play the sequence twice; only the second time is a bit different, as you can see in the notes.

The notes are:

Actually, I knew that I needed to distract the guards with girls because I used a smoking hint and it told me so.

Damn, this needs to be fixed! :( It shouldn't kick in before the game's ready.
Thanks.

By the way, I'm absolutely loving this game. It's been so long since I've played a decent point and click game.

As we say in Poland, this is honey for my heart.

Ah, I forgot your hint!

Hah, Shadow and wiseawl, you're at the same moment it seems ;-)

Ok.

Spoiler

- You can enter the  hotel only when the cops have moved to the left side with their car. If they're on the right, it's too early.

- You don't need to find the distraction until Donna says so! This is what you get for reading the hints section ;-)

- You have to try to enter the hotel first.

- By INTERACTing with the ivy grate under the open window.
