Devoutly dedicated to helping lead others to glory, you are a strong, supportive, and spiritual caregiver.

Summoned, I take the place that has been prepared for me.

Delenn is a character in the Babylon 5 universe. You can read her biography at the Worlds of JMS fansite.

Darnit! I'd rather be Picard... or Agent Smith! Or... anyone male! :)

Woohoo. :)

Not on my side.... I just downloaded it perfectly.

Only got to play it for 5 minutes... but it looks & plays great!! I'll tell you more later once I've got a chance to fully explore this beauty.

On the tutorials, try and get your hands on the "Computer Arts Projects" issue of last month. It should prolly be in stores, as the new one is due to be released... but isn't there yet.

It has a pixel art tutorial on drawing this isometric stuff in a futuristic setting... it's well done and looks very similar to penguinx.

So that's a compliment to penguinx, because the guy who wrote that tutorial was a "professional" "artist". ;)

Nice painting on the wall, foz. ;)

Looks fantastic!

Was this, by chance, inspired by a certain pixel art tutorial which ran in the Computer Arts Projects magazine?

Darnit. I made this edit to my post right after you posted, so I'd better post it loose, before you forget I asked. :)

Was the high diction that the doctor used intentional? I noticed how his speech was subtly different from that Rosa and the others spoke. More... academic.

Good read!

Perhaps to improve the professionalism, you could layout it a bit further? So far most areas use the standard Times New Roman font. Perhaps you could use a different font... also, try working with tables on your page. Even simple black outlines can help define the different sections of the E-Zine.

And for future E-Zines, how about doing code-stuff in another colour? That way the story in the Techie Corner becomes more readily identifiable.

All in all: lots of stuff, loved reading it!

Great game!

Have yet to finish it, though, am puttering away in Day 2. I love the dialogs! They really help to bring the characters alive.

Also, was the high diction that the doctor used intentional? I noticed how his speech was subtly different from that Rosa and the others spoke.

Yeah... well... this is all very nice, but when's the new E-Zine ready?

;)

(Mwahaha!)

I think (and hope) that by that time the pendulum has swung back again... meaning: adventure games will be the "new" hype and big in commercial success. And we'll still be here, being all "Told you so"...

;)

Question: If you could get involved with the development of one current AGS-made game, which one would you like to be involved with? And, in what department?

Also, Re: Quintaros: True. The questions get answered at a rapid pace. But, as I stated before: Answer all the questions you like. Just as long as you answer the current one as well and provide us with the next question... This thread will really take off once people start replying to earlier stuff, so I'm all for it.

Hey,

Just a very small suggestion for the MAGS competition. Is it perhaps a cool idea to have one big vote at the end of each year, where all the monthly winners are pitted against each other for the prestigious Annual MAGS Award? Or the Yearly AGS Award? (AMAGS or YAGS...)

Would be a fun thing, I'd say.
#255
Ah. :)

And your next question for everyone would be?
#256
I think Unreal (the original one) would translate quite well... escaped prisoner stuck on an alien planet with a completely alien culture... lots of potential there.

Ok, as for my question:

If you could be another AGS member for one day, who would you be? And, more importantly, what would you do?
#257
Yup. Part B and C are not online.

Pity, though. It sounds very interesting.
#258
I have the spear and the map, but Puddy refuses to go and see the Yeti. He's adamant that I go and do something, yet he doesn't know what...
#259
I'd end it badly, having the ending not work out, and LeChuck killing Guybrush...

...and then switch to young Guybrush waking up in the middle of the night, in bed.

Then let them deal with *THAT* when creating MI3. ;)

Question: What underdog adventure game REALLY deserves a sequel?

Pity you lost the job!

Ah, well... just make a blockbuster movie and release a worldwide hit adventure game. That usually works for me.
