Hello Lewis,

that is what I want to do, depending on the music I want one character to say a specific think, dont need to be a dialog, but at the same time some dialogs will be activated or deactivated.

I am now on the Global variables, but I am not sure how I should fill the gaps:

I am trying to activate an action from a specific music, I explain: the player goes to a music team and selects a song from a list, if you select a song in particular (aMusic3) I want a specific dialogue with one of the characters.

I have tried it with the command:
if (aMusic3.Play = True) ....

but there is no result.

Hello people, I have a question, here it comes:
I am doing some dialogues and it happens that the letters are difficult to read when facing a very colorful background, I have tried different colors and the one that works best is white, but even so the result is not clear enough.
I have looked and checked a bit like it would be to make dialogs like Gabriel Knoght Style but that is too far from my knowledge. Do you know any way or do you have any idea how to correct that? If I could make the texts of the conversations appear in the bottom part of the screen maybe it would be enough.

Oh thanks, then, in theory, I just need to install Windows in spanish language.

I'm using "Normal" as a "speech" font, for now I am using the same Font for everything, and I am using a TrueType (.ttf) Font and I downloaded from somewhere on internet but I had the same problema before, using the font the game come with.

I go into the "compiled" file and then "Data" and I find the Ana.agf (Ana is the name of the game), I open it with a text editor and the first line is just a random compilations of symbols and chinese characters:

Recently I had to reinstal Windows again on my computer an dI did tha ton China, I just changed the language to spanish and I dont have any problema , just Word exel and these programs are in chinese, could that be the problema? I will reintall Windows again in spanish and see what happens.

In this first image you can see the font I am using and there you can see that there are all the symbols of the Spanish language, such as "ñ", or the accents in the vowels: "á".

hello, I am now dealing with this situation: I want to do a game in spanish and I found out that the game doesn't show some of the stuff, like ¿, ¡, à , ò... even when this can be seen on the "fonts", any one has an idea about how I can manage that situation? I have been sheaching here for similar problems but I found nothing.

Hello, I still have the same problema, for some reason I am not able to make that NPC behave as I want, the idea is to have a ghost following you in certain rooms, (rooms with light off) and not in others (rooms with light on), I have tried many things, this is the las code I use but the ghost keeps showing himself in all the rooms. I really have no idea how to solve this.

Hello,
That's my first post, and I'm also creating my first AGS game, I'm working on it for 2 month, since it's my first experience with that took me long time to get everything done, even if I'm reading post and watching all tutorials I can, but there is a problem I can not solve in anyway:
I want to have a gost (a character) following the main character just in the dark rooms, some of the room have light and others are dark, I would like that ghost to follow me just in the dark ones. I have tryied all I know and it doesn't works, seems to be really easy to do but I do not find the way, I have tryied to do a "if" and say that if the character enters to a especific room the ghost do not follow the playable character, but it doesn't work. I will be happy with all the help you can give me.
