And another question: Can you tell me when the games have to be finished?

It is written on page one of this thread:

... maybe just the multi-votes from the same IP may be discounted ...
From a unique IP only one vote can be given at all. This is not the problem but thanks for the comment.

There was a voting link posted on irc... so this might be it..
Where it's posted isn't important - it can be tracked by the system.

Disqualify Recess.
It doesn't matter which game wants to earn extra votes. It's about fair play as I already said last time...

Okay now. Just some more hours and this vote will come to its end.

We have a problem here: Most of you remember the "trouble" we had in September. Now history is repeating! Again someone wants to earn some extra points.  >:(

Of course these are deleted.  The person doesn't need to say "it was me" or try to make any excuses as for me I won't be that kind this time... For all the others: Good luck - there's still one day left for voting.

Hi everybody,

so far only Felipe sent his translation of the language pack to me. So could everybody else that offered his/her help and received the english template file please give me a short info about the translation status.

Please give me a sign so that I at least know if your translation will come or not... Thank you!

You remember the MAGS competitions in 2003? All together 26 games entered the contests and offered a great range of amusement, humour and entertainment. To celebrate all the contestants and to bring all those games back to your minds and on your screens again here's "Maggies".

We don't want to judge about best graphics, best character or other best categories - there's already a famous award for doing this. "Maggies" just wants to know what's your favourite MAGS game of 2003. It's up to you to decide what's most important: Graphics, gameplay, idea, interpretation of the MAGS rules, whatever...

The voting period will run two long weeks until February 19th. So there's still time for you to play all the games that you missed until now. So here we go.

What is your favourite MAGS game 2003?

For voting please visit the MAGS site. There you also can find all links for downloading the games. Of course better do this before you vote :)

If you know which game should get your voice you can also make your choice right here.
Attention: The game that you click on will get your voice!
Please vote only once and now enjoy this reprise of 2003.

There seems to be something wrong with the .tk sites... I get a "Server not found" error when using that link...
Oh, I see. Well, right now it's working fine again. Anyway the direct voting links should always be available.

Babloyi, no need to worry or even hurry. Just take your time and make your post when everything's up :)
I wonder where  there are all the other games (at least two more) announced for the competition in this thread..?

So the closing is ~ 13:20 GMT on the 28th, right?
Yes, that's about the time. As the 28th is already very late I hope you all can manage it without additional extra time.

Okay, it's one day before the deadline and so I'd say we'll start voting in 24 hours from now (see timestamp of this posting). One entry's already here, all other submissions are still welcome until then :)

Funny that this time there are more posts to this thread than two months ago. Well, I think for the first release the new translations won't be finished in time. But as it is no problem to include the languagepacks later I'm happy about every offer. I'll contact you by e-mail or PM tomorrow. Thanks.
#452
Dear translators,
I'm not sure if you all received my e-mail before Christmas (asking for to finish the translations until January 7th) - or at least the second one some days later... Well, time ist up now so could you please be so kind and send your languagepacks as soon as possible.
Many thanks.

Hey Minimi. Like GinnyW I'm also sorry that you're ill. Lunchtime is always dangerous  :-\ I hope you'll feel better again very soon...
As the 28th is definitely over now all around the world and noone held up his hand for a time expansion or something similar I think we should end the final MAGS competition of 2003. The winner seems to be clear and can already think about the new rules but as usual the last word is on Magintz... :)

According to Greenwich Mean Time the 28th will end in about 2 hours and 30 minutes. How about starting the vote after that final interval? Should be enough time for Minimi to complete his entry.
Of course all the others that announced an entry can still submit their games as well...

Edit: Hm... now it's 1:30h after 29th started and still there's no additional entry :-\ Seems to be a really long lunch, Minimi. I'll check again in some hours in hope that all entries will be here then...

So it looks like there are two more games to come: one by Mr_Frisby  and the second by TK. As this month the deadline wasn't clearly announced right at the beginning of the competition I think we can give some extra time. One additional day is no problem. The 28th caused some strange discussion in September, remember? Hm... I'd say: TK just hurry up and we'll wait for your entry. Of course the last word is on Magintz to decide but I think we can do it that way...

Hmm... Just two weeks left.

Anyway, I got an idea (still), but it's way too ambitious for both, graphics and plot, to complete in seven days...

Keep in mind that the deadline for MAGS competitions is the 25th of a month (at least most of the time). So it's just some days to go...
