The one on the left I prefer!

Anything else I can advise on? I'm not good with the foot thing, but it looks like they have one foot pointing sideways for some reason. Would it look better if you just copied the foot on the right, mirrored it and pasted it on the other foot?

You could also give him some fingers?
(unless minimal detail is intentional, then excuse me)

I think the problem lies in the fact that the sunglasses and the hair are hard to difrentiate (sp) becasue they are both dark colours. Perhaps if the glasses didn't touch the hair? A bit of skin to seperate them?

I prefer it to the top down sprites, but I can't actually figure out the head. What is it exactly?

Eek I haven't made any concrete plans yet! Must phone people...

thanks for the unintentional reminder!

*Looks at older posts by the guy*

Hmmm.. he calls things and people "bong" a lot.

's about it!

Yeah I just finished it! I enjoyed it! I like even how you can choose to put your hat on or take it off. It's a nice touch.

And then the crazy bit near the end with all the cutscenes... brilliant!

Yeah, like I've often heard said on the AGS forums, don't submit your first game! I may be calling my own game "Secrets" my first game, but in reality it isn't. My real first "game" started off in the wrong resolution and went cow poo shaped from there. (And the inclusion of Mr Blobby on the TV in one of the locations was very annoying...)

But, I learnt a lot about how to make a game right, and my current attempt has benefitted from my previous experience greatly.

I liked some of the jokes in your walkabout thingy, but the writing style reminds me of text messages. It felt like words were skipped and it's missing puntuation marks from what I remember playing this a few hours ago.

I feel sad about the lack of replies on your game compared to some of the other mags entries... (And I have played all the ohter ones)

So I'm gonna download it now okay!

Neat game you are cooking up! Playing it made me forget about all my woes... which means you managed to capture the audience, so to speak!

i would say the two tiny bongo drums are easy!

For hard, i would say the scottish bagpipes. i mean, nobody can play them right at all! (What's that? They are supposed to sound like that? Really?!)

I'm confused as to why you need to draw huge backgrounds with a graphics tablet, when I don't?

Hold on! Your first image is posted UPSIDE DOWN! What a glaring error!

Manic Matt,

the real person wasting his/her time is the person who reads this thread and all the responses, and then for some odd reason takes it upon himself to be the personal guardian of everyone's productivity.

i think it was more of the case of sticking to my guns and not changing my opinion just because everyone disagree's with it.

And I enjoy wasting my time here!

A stone with which my life was/is compared

Would it, in a flash, be forgotten?

Sure sure, but I would have thought these two were intentional?

I like the poem anyway, and I like it in some literature that the topic is open to interpretation as to what it's about.

Wait, i think there was a slain ManicMatt in the classic adventure, "The death of the genius" where you picked up his fresh corpse and had to wear him in order to get through the gates of hell.

Hold it.... when did Mrs White become a man?  ???

And by hypocrit what i really mean is, to take your own advice rather than just give it out when you'd probably never bother yourself. Am I right?  :P

Sigh.... looks like I'm on my own on this one!

Fine fine, go ahead and bother this scammer, and everyone else, I expect you to waste all your time on every con email you ever receive from this day forth, else become a hypocrit!  8)

Install linux.

if (ags != has_linux_editor()) {
get_software("WINE");
}

Or buy an Amiga! (It was able to open that "I luv you" virus email all those years ago without infection...)

1) I'm guessing you missed an item in the blacksmiths shop.

Well... there is a definetly a gothic vibe I'm getting.

It's composed very well... but... well....

Why use samples that sound so old? Is this one of those intentional midi or whatever computer songs? (the beginning isn't boring btw)
