That's not trickery.  It's tactful maneuvering.  If you're a decent chess player, you should be able to recognize such moves and defend against them.

{Pointless Mozart slander deleted.}

I'm certainly a Rachmaninov fan, as well as Chopin.  Both these composers stray from the general light-heartedness of classical piano music.  Rachmaninov is incredibly fun to play, if you're willing to put in extra time to learn his pieces.

I only play chess games of 5 minutes or less, preferrably blitz (2 minutes).  30 minutes is way too boring.

I like WanderLady because he says nice things, like that time he said something nice about Dragonrose's smile.

Just two nights ago I had a dream that I was roommates with a friend from high school that I haven't seen in years, and Britney Spears.  There wasn't much else to it than that, [un]fortunately.

I agree, GTA can corrupt your mind.  After playing GTA for 24 hours straight, I had to run to the grocery store.  Some jerk cut me off, so I rammed his car until it exploded.  He managed to escape, so I chased him down and beat him to a bloody pulp.  Then some kids crossing the street were gawking at me so I pulled out my rocket launcher and blew them onto the roof of a nearby Seventh-Day Adventist church.  After that, the cops were all over me, so I stole another car and luckily drove through a plate-changing shop and got a new paintjob, all the while listening to The Chatterbox.

This has to be one of the clearest, most straightforward tutorials I have ever seen.  This tutorial is incredibly informative!  Thank you so much for this!

QuoteWhy is there no Holiday that utilizes AGS? Why not have an AGS day where everybody downloads AGS and AGS games and gives them to people??

I agree.  AGS Day should be a national holiday, so I can get the day off from work to play AGS games.

It's a better idea than Christmas.  You have to spend money on Christmas presents.  AGS games are [typically] free.  What, praytell, could be better than giving free gifts?

This holiday annoys me, too.  Most holidays do, mainly because of the commercialization.  Like Darth Mandarb et al said, I DON'T need a holiday to tell my wife how much I love her and appreciate her.  I do my best to let her know how wonderful she is every day.  She's the greatest love of my life, and she's a wonderful wife and mother.  To me, Valentine's is just a good excuse to be a little more free with money, and go out to a nicer restaurant than we would normally go to and perhaps even do something "cultured" like go see a play, rather than a regular dinner-and-a-movie date.

I was the kid no girl liked in high school, too.  I had plenty of geeky friends (we were geeky in the COOL kind of way) and there were some cute girls in a group of friends I hung around with.  I'd like to think people at least respected me, but no girl had a romantic interest in me.

Christmas bugs me, too.  It's WAY too commercialized.  It drives me nuts how you feel obligated to buy presents for family members, too, and possibly friends.  I also don't understand why at Christmastime on the news they do a "special news report" on fruitcake.  WTF?

Halloween is annoying, too.  It used to be that kids had to play tricks on people to earn their candy.  Now they just go around DEMANDING candy, and then egg your house if you don't give them any, or don't give them good candy.  And why do I see old kids trick-or-treating, like 16 and 17 year olds?  What's wrong with them?

I love Migs because he's a sexy devil and his feet don't smell.

I like Yufster because she's a nice person.  She's very helpful and nice to AGSers.  She's social, easy to get along with, and she's an incredibly talented arist.  Her jokes and her natural wittiness crack me up, too.  Her game Beyond Reality is awesome, and once all the bugs are fixed I think it will be one of the most memorable games ever made with AGS.

I don't think this is a stupid thread.  It's not stupid to let someone know why you appreciate them and all the hard work they do to improve the community.

Sweet!  I'll have to check this out.

He's a smart guy (he knows every capitol in the world!), and he makes the AGS E-Zine, a valuable resource for AGS gamers.

I think we should remake it and connect it to battle.net for some FIERCE MULTIPLAYER COMPETITION!
