Unless he's up to much greater, improved and shocking comic--
So, let me get this straight, if i don't reply to a thread i started within 24 hours, i "don't seem to check it"? BAGH i Say!
Anyway, in terms of the crits, thank you. I'm taking abord the guillotine advice, as well as a range of the other advice given. Update coming soon  :)

Hey, was doodling the other day and ended up with this
.
I think i may include it as a comic for my series, which i'll be getting hosting for in about a week or two.
Crits and Comments appreciated
Cheers,
Fluke.
PS: If anyone has any ideas about fixing up the axe, it'd be appreciated.

First up, a new screenie for NuCleUs.

Secondly, some chars for "Battle For Arbell", a game i'm working on on the side, when i'm not working on NuCleUs.

Knights Of Darkness. Notice how the name is cliche!

Moon Kings. Eh, not *as* cliche.  ;D

Well, that'll about do it for me.

Look Blake, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over.

Erm...what?

General Discussion / HAL Device???
Thu 30/11/2006 07:09:34
So, the other day i downloaded and installed an MMO.
But, as i began to play, the following error message came up:

Renderer Creation Error: HAL device not available for default adapter.

Proving my complete lack of techno-mumbo-jumbo knowledge, i have no idea in hell what this means.
If anyone could give me an idea of what to do, it'd be appreciated.
Cheers,
Fluke.

People blame what's easiest to blame.
For example, Thomas, you are ignorant, pathetic and moronic, therefore i shall come to the random but simple conclusion that it was your school.
See?
Cheers,
Fluke.
PS: I don't really think you're ignorant, pathetic or moronic...too much ;D

Hehe, no flame war intended, just a polite discussion of which System people prefer!

Well, the Title is pretty self explanatory.
What do you think is the greater OS, Windows, Linux or Mac?
I'm going to say Windows, but this may not be fair to Linux, as i have spent plenty of time with Mac and Windows, but only about 5 hours messing around with Linux.
What's your opinion, Windows Linux or Mac??

Fluke

But how will you implement the distributable levels?
Ah, good question!
I've worked out a system of "Codes" which are based on how you have constructed the map. You can then share said codes via the game's online forums. For example, Player 1 posts his code on the forum's "Code" section, and Player 2 reads the code, inserts it into the game's code-reader and, voila, Player 2 can play Player 1's map. It's taken me a little while to work out the bits and bots of this system, but after running a short test, I'm proud to say it works perfectly. Hooray, and such!
Cheers,
Fluke.
BTW: Thanks for all the support guys, it's appreciatedÃ,  :)

Howdy.

HISTORY
-------------------
Back last year, I began a project, mainly just to screw with the software and produce a playable tech demo. Unfortunately, it didn't go too well. There were bugs, the graphics were god-awful, and the audio sounded like i had recorded three rambling mental patients and clumped it together.
However, with much thought and the resistance of procrastination, i decided it was time to revive this bug-covered, smudged together, audio-screeching goliath.

-------------------
STORY
------------------
The year is 2821, and the main form of entertainment is Pod Rolling. Pod Rolling encompasses contestants rolling into Metroid Prime-like balls, and roll around the board, collecting items, battling evil-doers, and eventually getting to the exit zone.
You are one of these contestants, and the greatest tournament ever has just begun.
It will take guts, tactics and a smooth key-finger to win, but the prize will be greater than anything you could imagine.

SCREENIES

After a sorely needed revamp of the hideous graphics, i present, for your viewing pleasure, NuCleUs screenshots! Hooray and such!

General Discussion / Re: Family Guy Videogame

Well, i got the game today, and from the time i've spent playing it so far, i'm pretty impressed! Unlike the sour taste left in my mouth by most TV-Show-To-Games that i play, i really enjoyed the off-the-wall humor in it. Speaking of which, the humor kicks ass! It is quite possibly the funniest games i have ever played, especially the pop-culture references and satire! I really enjoyed it, and i recommend it to any fans of FG or just anyone looking for a pretty decent platformer/adventure game.
Cheers,
Fluke.
