Critics' Lounge / Re: BG could use some c&c

I've been working hard on this bg now for a few days. I've added some objects.

I would like some c & c on the (new) objects. I've been trying to add some shadow but i just didn't helped. Some help with that would also be welcome. The lightning source is the window.

First i want  to thank everyone who gave me some tips. I have tried to improve it.

Damien: I have removed the black pixels below the wall and door.

Strazer: I changed the pink into dark green. The wall texture was not difficult. I first draw a few lines over the wall, and then a make same brighten lines over it, and over again. I've made the door handle now to the other direction. And sorry, but the game does start in this room :D.

Losttraveler: i sended to you that yesterday afternoon remember?

Dart: Yes, i made it now dark green. I made the bed sheets some darker.

Stuh: Who says the wall is from wood? i have made the textures by my self. I have add some shadows, but i don't know if they are placed right.

Increater: Yes, that's right.

Danclarke: What do you mean?

Losttraveler: That's right, it is supposed to be a wallpaper. I tried to make the door less flat. I also tried to make some hinges, but that didn't work in such a low resolution bg.

Critics' Lounge / BG could use some c&c
Thu 06/05/2004 21:43:03
This is my first bg made al by my self. (no tutorial). It is a bedroom. It will be a room in my first game. It could use some c&c.

for the details:

The room is still a bit empty because he is not yet finished. I look especially for c&c about the textures.

Tnx,

Critics' Lounge / Re:First Try at new style

Looks great for a new style, it`s always difficult to try a new style if you are used to something else. The only thing i don't like is the flame, it's to unrealistic. Other that that, i like your new style.
