Hi All Good Peeps.

My Brother has been experincing props with 'Batman - Arkham City' on GFW Live since he recently got a Win 8 machine.
I would realy appreciate it if someone could help him out.

I shall now pass my keyboard to my Bro so he can explain.

When I start up Batman Arkham City GFW Live doesnt appear on the in-game title screen. Even pressing the HOME key
does nothing. I couldnt even continue from where I left off because my save had vanished. All it would let me do
is begin a new game. This is something I dont want to do. I copied and transferred the WB folder containing my auto
save from my old comp across to my Windows 8 machine. I was also having troubles with Fable 3 concerning corrupt saves
untill someone online had suggested copying the Xlive folder from the old computer, Deleting the one on the new computer
and then replacing it with the copied folder. After doing this my saves worked. Upon doing this I thought it might resolve
the problem with the Batman saves not appearing and GFW Live aswell. But it didnt. I have no problem with GFW Live on any other
games I play, Just Batman.

I have had a pointless game of Email tennis between Microsoft and WB games who are both blaming the other. I was told to download
and reinstall the most recent version of GFW Live client which I have done but still Batman refuses to recognise it.

If anyone can shed some much needed light on this prob I would be most grateful.

Hi Scavenger.

The script you gave me works like a charm.

The only thing I had to do was to use a minus on the light levels. (Didn't know you could even do that until I tried.)
So I have...

All of my other regions I just left as is because it is fairly dark on those and candle light wouldn't reach the characters.

It looks pretty damn good, even if I do say so myself.

Ok.
Me and my Brother live in the same house.
My Brother buys a game that has to go through that rancid piece of rat s**t, otherwise know as steam.
I like the look of the game he has bought but I can't play it cos he has already installed it.
So they expect me to go out and buy a second copy so I can play it on my comp.

They can go to hell if they think I'm having two copies of the same game in one house.

Bring back the old days when you just used a cd key and the entire family could install it on their own machines and play.

So that's why.

My rant is now over and I feel that a tremendous weight has now been lifted.

When I had problems a while back you said that you were using the 'Draconian version'.
I switched to the 'Draconian version' and it solved my probs.
Are you still using this or not?

Hi All good peeps.

I am creating the second part of 'The Lost Prince Of Lorden' and wish to add more effects this time.

In one part of my game the character is in a room with flickering candle light.
The walls and floor flicker, as they should. I have used animating backgrounds for this.
Is there a way that I can make the Player character and other characters flicker too?

I was thinking maybe regions would have to be used.

Any help would be much appreciated.

     For anyone who has dry skin. Try E45 cream on the affected area/s.
     I think it is fantastic and no Doctor ever told me to try it. They just gave me a load of expensive creams that never worked.
     My Mother was the one who found my cure by 'surfing' the web.

I don't know if you are being serious, as this thread has gone to hell...But.
I found this article.

It sounds as if you might be developing (or have already completely developed) Urinary Tract Infection. This is nothing to worry about as it's something anyone can experience. This merely means that there is bacteria and infection in the urethra and bladder which needs to be cleansed out. The most common symptoms of UTI are as follows: Painful/Burning Urination, Unable to completely empty bladder, Frequent Urination. If these are things you are experiencing, then you need to schedule an appointment with your doctor so that you can get a complete examination to ensure that this is a Urinary Tract Infection and receive antibiotics. Don't wait until the pain and signs are nearly unbearable.
While you wait, you should drink plenty of water or cranberry juice (if available) so that you can flush the infection from your bladder. Make sure to urinate whenever you feel the urge. Don't hold it in, for you will end up harboring infection. Whenever you do urinate, make sure to clean around the opening of the penis so as not to allow infection to reenter the body. Doing these things should help your pain and irritation go down some until you can see a doctor.
