Hi. Again, Domino.

Is it 'LEGEND'.
The devil in the monitor screen, if I remember correctly, was played by 'Tom cruise'. :o

I also, at the time was shocked.
Not only by the fact that they killed a unicorn but the fact that, five foot nothing, Cruise was the Devil. ;D

What is the sign on wall made of.

If it's metal then.

>Take sign off wall. Press green button and slide sign underneath door.

Or.

>Press green button and slide dead guys head underneath door.

He wont mind if this doesn't work. He's dead! ;D

Hi Domino.

You are correct. ;D
It is 'The Adventures Of Pluto Nash'.

Sorry it took me a while to reply. I have been away from comp.

I don't know what else to do except blame Dual for the whole thing!  ;)

I would.

Also it's fun to hear him rant about how unfairly he has been treated. ;D

Until then.
Here is another ass from the same movie. HMmmm.  :P

Yeah.

I would agree that it sounds like your level is broken. (although I am no builder).

I asked my Father who has done alot of work with levels in the past.
He suggested that to be sure of the fall of the pipe. Half fill a plastic seethrough bottle and place it on top of pipe on it's side.
That will tell you which way the pipe is falling. If it's falling to the left you will have more water in the left of the bottle and vice versa.

Obviously this wont tell you by how much the pipe is falling but will give you some idea as to which way its falling.

Hope this helps.

General Discussion / Re: Talk to Me

Can I just say.

Stop trying to be 'Someone'.
Everyone is 'Someone'.
How about just being 'You'.
There is no one else that is 'You' so you are 'Someone'.

I went through this years ago. From the age of 18 to 25 I was a Vocalist in a Rock Band, called 'FLASHPOINT'.
We played pubs and clubs and had a large following around the towns we played.

We played once to an audience of 775 people, I know the exact number cos that was the number of tickets we sold for the gig.
Everyone loved us and everyone knew me and my band mates wherever we went in these towns.

What realy pisses me off is I also have no pictures or video to back all this up.

I am now, extremely, close to 40.
No one knows me anymore.
I do not sing in a band anymore.
My long, Jet black, hair has gone, along with my shape and looks.

I now work my ass off, in a job I hate, to make a living, cos I never made it bigtime.

I am STILL 'Someone' though.
I will continue to be 'Someone' until the day I die.

Jay

I'm sorry to disappoint.

Neither I nor my Girlfriend can remember the name of this film.
We saw it about 2 years ago.

A guy from where I worked, at the time, lent it to me.

If I ever remember the title I shall let you all know.

Anyway. I am off to work now and shall not be back on here until monday night.

Jay signing out.

I don't even know that film.

It sounds terrible though.

I saw a film where an extremely supple woman, dressed as a pussy cat, was washing her own... Meeoww!
The pause button, on my control, was used a few times.
Just to admire the mere feat, of limberness,  that was being displayed, you understand.

I must say that my girlfriend was also amazed as she was watching as well... OK!

Jay.

Edit:
      Amusing as all this is.
I don't think that it's the thoughts, whatever they may be, that Sledgy wants.
Sorry.

anian.

I think I remember that TV Show.
Wasn't it just called 'Damon' ?

Jay.

SHIT!

I thought I was just being paranoid.
People, really, are watching me.

I should be commended instead of ridiculed.
Have you any idea of how many hours of training it takes to 'even sucked from himself'.

I was in hospital for months.

I NEVER did my own ass, though. I would have killed myself trying.

Sledgy.
I thought you said that my private life would be so. ;D

This is a long shot.

But I think it might be 'October 22'.

With the cuts and grazes we have accumulated.

I don't think it's a good idea to wade about in the water.
We may end up with Leptospirosis.

Hi Gepard.

I had exactly the same prob with 2.72.
The sliders never seem to work properly with music.

In the end I just went for 'music off' or 'music on' buttons.

I have been, also, working on my game for a, VEEEeeerrrryyyy, long time.
If I try to put it across to any AGS engine higher than 2.72 I get alot of errors, mainly with 'Lake module'  I don't understand the errors.

I have said this before but I prefer 2.72.
It's what I learned on and I don't want anything else.

Is it Wizard of Oz?

Ryan.
I thought the same as you.

Hell.
I'm going to go one better, than you, and say.
Is it 'Return to OZ'. ;D

I think Tabata has a method here.

If the other 'Dude' went through the door 'west or Left'.
We may have just flooded it with water, again.
This would mean that we have just drowned, afore said, bad guy.
The metalic sound upon metal maybe our (Aids infected, but now washed clean) pistol hitting the door.

If we turn valve again, emptying room.
We maybe able to pilfer usefull items and regain our (now cleansed) pistol from the 'Dead Bad Guy'.

What do you think, Peeps?
Should we turn valve again?
I am not going to say, anything, until I have confirmation to do so.

Jay.

LOL.

Now that you have pointed it out, I must agree.
He does look exactly like Calin. :D

Thank you, all, for your kind words.
I am glad that you like the look of my game.
When the time comes, I hope you all enjoy playing it.

Many Thanks.
Jay.

Hi all good Peeps of AGS.
                                                               >> GAME IS RELEASED <<
                                                                                                                  (Please see completed games thread)

                                                                                                                                 J-Soft Presents

THE LOST PRINCE OF LORDEN - Part 1
                                                                                                               --------------------------------------------------

You are on your way to Bridgetown, a large and prosperous village on the northern shores of Lorden.
There are four villages in all. One to the north, east, south and west points of the Isle.
You have travelled South, from The Lore Lands across the river Yeatham, to hold council with Good King Aarion in his castle.
He and his daughter, Princess Petal, command the four villages and the Isle of Lorden.

Reaching the castle gate your trusty steed becomes suddenly spooked, obviously by a feeling only it can sense, and throws you, unceremoniously, from its back.
You awake to find that you have no idea as to where you are or how you even ended up in this predicament.

The Lost Prince Of Lorden is complete.
                                                                                                                         ---------------------------------

This has been made with AGS 2.72
                                                                                                                          2 gig of memory required.
(I have used 'Stevemcrea's' or should I now say 'Kweepa's' Lake Module within my game and on a 1 gig machine I suffer slowdown when lake is present.)

I have Part 2 in mind but I will await the verdict of part 1 before I continue.

Many Thanks.
Jay.
