I don't think it would hurt to make him a bit bigger, though.
just about 10-15 pixels taller and 5-10 wider.
This way you'll be able to add a few more bits of detail without ruining it.

The game was interessting, like all of Yahtzees games. It was well made and atmospheric (sp), but I didn't like it anyway. I neither liked Trilby's Notes as much as 5DAS and 7DAS. In my opinion the story just went too confusing with Trilby's Notes and 6DAS didn't exactly help to explain everything.

I prefer serous games and so I don't think Yahtzee should make funny games again. What I really would like to see are more games with Trilby in them. They could take place before 5DAS so that they are not part of this series. That would be great. I just love the Trilby characterÃ, 

Yes, I like it.
Maybe "Trilby, The Gentleman Cat Burgler." It could explain how he got involved in the burgling game and involve some stealthy missions to rob paintings, ornaments and jewellery from large houses and museums.
Nor horror needed, just the threat of getting caught red handed...

I'm looking for Richard Hammond's crash! There's a thousand clips on YouTube but they've all been removed, which is annoying. I was at work and I missed it but really wanted to see the footage. If anyone knows of a location of this video clip, pleeeease tell me

I missed it too, but Top Gear is repeated on Wednesday evening so you could catch it then, or tape it.

Let the slanging commence...

7 Days is my least favourite of the four... although it's gone up in my esteem now that I know how it fits in with the mythology.
My ranking of the quartet is this:
1. 5 Days
2. Trilby's Notes
3. 6 Days
4. 7 Days

I'm glad we have a kind of cliffhanger of sorts, but I think Yahtzee should leave the series alone now, at least for the moment.  and work on new projects.  Although I still think he should write a screenplay for Trilby and tout it round the film companies... He could make millions.

I didn't enter for the same reason that I'm not making a game at the moment.  I'm waiting for my friend to give me a CD with photoshop on it so I can start making some decent backgrounds... at the moment I'm juts playing games for edutainment, playing around with making sprites in paint and I have entered the current tune contest for a laugh... check that out people if you haven't already, it's good fun.

I think Duffer's game may well have won anyway if there were more entries, it's was a good entry.

Yeh, really impressive backgrounds man..... even if you just made a little demo with them, so we can see them as intended.

Woohoo... I'm on Day four and loving it, but unfortunatley it's time to go to bed.
Am finding it a little easier than the previous Trilbys, but the emphasis on the storyline is brilliant and It feels more like an interactive novel.
I keep saying it but these games should be made into a series of films... perhaps it could be a Trilbilogy... :o

AGS is definatley geared towards 3rd person games, but it's entirely feasable to create a 1st person one.
And at least then you wouldn't have to worry about animating the main character.
Dark Fall and Barrow Hill are two brilliant 1st person games I've played lately. Not programmed in AGS, I don't think, but it's entirely possible to imagine they could have been.

The Marionette Looks great and there is a brilliant demo there now which show's just how this can be done.

The difference being that is just the CD case, whereas mine is in the same case but also in the original box with all the manuals and gumph including the registration card.
