Possibly Thomas, after all what is orange in your language, and does it rhyme with anything? If it does rhyme then I'm guessing they removed it because the joke is lost.

"Orange" is spelled the same way in german, but it's pronounced in the french way.
Therefore, there are not too many words, wich would rhyme with it, if there is one at all.
A word that has definitively no rhyme is "Mensch", wich translates to "man"/"human".
But we disgressed into this german-topic again, and I'm afraid to piss some people off with it, so I'll stop now.

But if this song would be sang every time in the original version, they must really have removed it.
I once checked the code with ScummREVISITED, and discovered a variable, that is checked before the song comes, but I never found out, where this variable gets altered.
It indicates the language version, I guess.

I'd also like to point out that I did hint at big brother about the pirates song, before anyone else, but I figured he didn't need recorrecting like Mats was keen to point out.Ã,

The orange thing was Guybrush way to stop Haggis, Cutthroat Bill and Van Helgan's song since the word "orange" is a very difficult word to rhyme.

Do I have to do something special to maken them sing?
Or is it because I have the german version?
Maybe they removed it, because it was too hard to translate.

Isn't that sort of an interpretation, rather than a literal translation? It would be like stone hard literally, making the most neutral interpretation "rock hard". Adamant is a pretty specific word

A german person would pronounce it the same way.

Well, I can't really judge it, since I never saw it, therefore I can't definitely claim that you are wrong in this point.

First of all, the name is spelled "Griffin".
And besides:
Peter is no Homer, but he was never supposed to be one.
And I can't see, how anybody can't laugh about the cutouts.
Unfortunately, I never saw "American Dad", since it was never aired in germany and I don't know where I can get DVDs, but I bet, you just can't handle the social critism.

Family Guy is nothing but references and jokes about injuries or stupid people. Like: Peter suddenly falling down the stairs, throwing up because he drank a bottle of Ipecac, and any episode ever, because they all have references. It's not even funny.

Besides to the absolutely correct comments by Darth, I have to add:
Stupid people are funny!
And there are not so many things about injuries as you say.
Well, I haven't seen the whole episode with the ipecac (2 years, see above), but I saw this very clip and I was horrified!
But these are just some exceptions, the show mostly rules!

I hope it gets cancelled, and I hope you come to your senses before it does, Thomas.

In the audio commentary, they said they made an ending in wich he, more or less, gets the girl, but they wasn't sure, if they really would cancel the show, so they kept the possibillity for more stories.
