Sweet, another entry :D

I wouldn't have thought, getting such a quality entry on the finishing line. Really really great and look at all those gadgets - gotta love the cloak!

Well... anyone else - you still have the whole 2nd december. All girls get a suit case and for you boys, there's still bronze left.

And Kaputtnik, you should at least animate something - or leave a proof that you'll deserve the ladies trunk (animated with fleas at best)  ;D

bah, too bad that this historical setting has to exclude me (or maybe as a corpse among others?)

But neat photoshopping!

When I had watercooling, I liked an external solution, which near to noiseless - like this: http://www.kailon.de/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=35&products_id=132

Last year I bought a mac mini, which is actually the best computer I've ever owned :)

Btw. shelling out 500 bucks a graphics card is never worth its money. You're top notch for 2-3 month, after that, the cheaper cards are getting as fast as your card. And after a year, you're getting a more silent card with less power consumption for less money.

Can't get any worse than this.  ::)

@Stefano & Cat:
Awesome links, thanks a lot!

Maybe someone could add these to the tutorial sticky?

Maybe then you should take a look at the stuff by preston blair:
http://www.animationarchive.org/2006/05/media-preston-blairs-animation-first.html

He just explains the techniques, but leaves the rest up to you.

During cold war, our organization tried everything to discredit the CCCP.
So we took this totally straight photo of Michail Gorbatschow

and sent this to the media

A few years later, the wall fell... mission accomplished.

Tremble in fear, sinners!             Let the burning begin!

60x100x 8 colors (2 for the body + 6 for the fire)

Oops, almost forgot the category: fanaticism & rage

The quick guess:
It could be a RAM problem. If you have access to another computer with your type of RAM, try to see if it works there.

The long way to get sure:
Usally the best thing to do, is to disconnect everything from your mainboard except graphic card and RAM. If it's still not booting, try some other RAM and try to switch the graphics adapter. If it still not booting, only your mainboard is left.
If by any step the system works again, reattach your hardware step-by-step to see if it's working.

What brilliant entry!! I'm actually still laughing over here - just hilarious!

Thanks for making this clear.
I assumed, the blue line were parallel. So this is two point, done right (and not as I did in my motel room, posted some time ago) ;)

I think Neutral Milk mostly works, because of Jeff's crisp melancholic voice. Maybe this song would be a lot better if you'd put yourself more in the foreground.
Yes, and should re-think the reverb ;)

Has anyone ever dressed up like these insane anime uber monsters. You know, this type of universe eating mutants, which appear when the arch nemesis already's got beaten up?

Like here at around 2.50 min

And I'd love to hear some more robot broadcast from pesty  :=

Here's some material from me.

The Vestibule (when it was called Exodus), sporting incredibly wrong drawn gallows

The first version of Stone:

Relicts from the website

The last room I drew for the vestibule, featuring an awful lensflare

And last but not least, the title for a silly project during this Andy Penish time

No material I could ever recycle :P

I still assume, that this is one point  :P
(on the left outside)

Too bad, that the bigger screenshot is gone at the moment, so I had to use the thumbnail. Anway, the upper part of the image has to have it's own VPs, otherwise the 1st floor wouldn't be visible.

Maybe you'd prefer mtPaint then... has the pixel grid, some Iso Tools, but also support for 16-bit. Best of all, it's free.
http://mtpaint.sourceforge.net/

I think Isotopia is more for trying out your ISO creations and if they fit.
