Leon, you do have a good point there.

OK, this is how it should be [thanx many times Ben304 ;)]:

function room_RepExec()
{
}
function repeatedly_execute_always()

{
  if (!cBird.Moving)
  {
    if (cBird.x == 190)
    {
      cBird.Walk(400,  163, eNoBlock, eAnywhere);
    }
    else
    {
      cBird.Walk(190,  163, eNoBlock, eAnywhere);
    }
  }
  if (!cKeen.Moving)
  {
    if (cKeen.x == 190)
    {
      cKeen.Walk(400,  190, eNoBlock, eAnywhere);
    }
    else
    {
      cKeen.Walk(190,  190, eNoBlock, eAnywhere);
    }
  }
}

Isn't there a way to host the games that were on bicyclesforblahblah server on one of the servers mentioned in this post, since a lot of game links in the database which were on that server are now dead?
I can provide a total list of games that used to be on the bicyclesforblahblah server.
Just an idea. ;)

Thanx for your answer CrimsonWizard but it still doesn't work. :'(

Some better explaining:

I have one conversation in dialogs-0: dDialog0 which have both "show" and "say" active.

I also have this RepExec in the roomscript:

function room_RepExec()
{
 if (!cBird.Moving)
 {
   if (cBird.x == 190)
   {
     cBird.Walk(400,  163, eNoBlock, eAnywhere);
   }
   else
   {
     cBird.Walk(190,  163, eNoBlock, eAnywhere);
   }
 }
 if (!cKeen.Moving)
 {
   if (cKeen.x == 190)
   {
     cKeen.Walk(400,  190, eNoBlock, eAnywhere);
   }
   else
   {
     cKeen.Walk(190,  190, eNoBlock, eAnywhere);
   }
 }
}

Even with "Run game loops while dialog settings are displayed" option set as True on General settings page: when I click on cKeen to start the dialog, cKeen and cBird only finish the part of the loop [.walk] they are doing for that moment and when finished they wait for when the dialog will end. Only then they both restart there walking loop again.

Is there no way to keep for example cBird moving because that one has nothing to do with the dialog? ???

Is it possible to let an animation run during a dialog?

NPC1 needs to walk from point A to point B and back, like a loop.
But when the player character starts a dialog with let's say NPC2,
NPC1 stops walking and wait (or freeze) until that dialog has ended.
After that, he continue walking again.
Is there a way to keep him moving during the dialog?

So, somehow the walking animation is blocked until the dialog has ended...

Tags do also work but still you have to find an AGS game
first in order to use the tag, if I'm right. And even when
you do know AGS games, you still have to guess which
AGS game has a review on your site and which not since
there is no AGS-games-listing. Looking at it that way, the
advantage of AGS as title is that it doesn't acquire to find
an ags game by guessing first. Anyway, that's my humble
opinion about it, still one of both will do what needed. ;)

Nice job, I've read the one of Shifters Box and I must say
I like the way the review is done. I do, sometimes, the
same thing for a dutch review site. I've done a review
of Shifter Box too, but since it's in dutch almost no one
would probably make anything out of it. :P

I have a small request though: Could you add "AGS games"
or "AGS" or something like that to the subject list in order
list all reviews of any type of game only build with AGS?
For now there's no way to search for AGS-only reviews.

Cheers,
Arj0n.

Thanx, awesome.
Totaly overlooked that post.
#2829
Could be, but it's the only one around...

Leon, do you have the ags game "Simpsons Adventure Game" (which is a demo if I'm right)?
Well, "do you have" is a rhetorical question, I should say "can you upload this game for me"?  ;)

Well well, all you retro freaks out here. 8)

Since there are a lot peops that have played Granny's Garden some centuries ago,
I packed an Amstrad CPC Emulator Frontend with Built-In Emulator and included "Granny's Garden v3.2".
I also included a short "manual" called "Arj0n_HowTo.txt" so everyone should be able to run it.

Granny says click here! [1.77Mb]

Machinarium Plot:

Machinarium is a strange rusty, metallic place populated only by robots. In the game you play a little robot who incorrectly ended up at the dustbin just outside the city. After the robot has picked himself together, he goes back to the city where he encounters the bad guys from the Black Cap Brotherhood . They are preparing for a bombing in the central tower where the boss of the city has his residence. Your job is to stop them and also to save your friend, a robot-girl...

@Crestica
That's not something from DuzzQuest2 I guess. Maybe not even something from an AGS game?

Isn't that zzz-option not just the same thing as for example the classic sierra 'sand glass' icon, shown when you as player can't do anything for a certain moment?

The other thing I would suggest is to try an unmodified copy on a normal PC to see if the problems persist.
Good Luck!
I guess the problem is your netbook. what processor and graphic does it use?
