Yeah it is good to see that England is back again with a good side. I remember a couple of years ago they couldn't even find a decent captain.

I just saw the last 5 minutes if the second test and was saddened greatly. Australia lost the second test by 2 runs... After a fightback, they just couldn't make it to the end. It's a shame I didn't get to see the whole game.  :(

Although I must say that it is nice to see Australia lose for a change.

I hope things are going better for you Kinoko. It can be tough being in a new place and especially a new country. You certainly are brave, especially without being with you fiance for so long. I wish you the best, it will get better soon.

Nice to see another game. I shall have to check it out tomorrow.

Oh and its good that people post about the games in here. I remember going to his site one day and it was like a day or two after 5DAS came out. That was pretty random as I hadn't been to his site before. And yeah I posted it in here. It would've taken longer for people to notice otherwise.

"Devout Amateur Design" Nice one :)

Hehe a year old thread. Oh well, its still good :=

From my knowledge I finished DotT without help, even though our copy came with a hint guide (Dad took it and wouldn't give it to us until we finished the game :P)
Also Grim Fandango, being the only game that I had bought at the time, I didn't want to cheat on it.
Most other games have included to some degree a level of hints or walkthroughs.

I think this page is quite appropritate and quite funny... Only works in IE btw.

Yeah there is the Video Conference in MSN Messenger that Edmundo said. I think it's only in the newest versions though. I havn't used it myself, but I'm pretty sure that its full screen whereas the regular old webcam thingy in MSN is just smallish.

I'd like to also say Congratulations! :D

Nice work. I'm liking it lot. It reminds me of Maniac Mansion a little. I really like the shading on the objects, but agree that the desk looks a little funny. The biggest probem I see is that the light doesn't look real. It has no perspective bouncing off the wall. Also it probably shouldn't go into the ceiling, like it is now.

I really like the newer walkcycle. It looks as though he's striding along looking quite determined. Awesome head wobbl you got going there.  It could do with maybe a frame or two more, but I do like it as is.

Congratulations Def, I thought that was the best entry too :).

Indeed I agree. It was a discussion like this one before that led me to investigate and wish that I really hadn't.

Oh and to stay on topic, for what its worth... I usually got alright reports in shcool. It seems that I've been going downhill since being at uni and I only just passed all my subjects last semester.

Haha thats awesome! The full zoom is the best.

So rather than create a new topic I thought I'd just edit this one.

Telltale have released a traler for Bone which you can find here

Also they have stated that the first episode of Bone will be released in September. Exciting stuff I think.

For the full press release, go here.

Sounds good to me. I saw the trailer for it, and Johnny looks very female. I don't know if that translates over to the movie too, but it creeped me out a little.

Oh and I am looking forward to seeing this. I did like the book and the other movie, so it will be nice to compare them.

Yeah BugMeNot is great. I've been using it for a while ever since I found the firefox plugin: http://roachfiend.com/archives/2005/02/07/bugmenot/ I just right click on the username/password field and if there is a fake acocunt it fill it in automatically. Very handy.

Reminds me of a bad lecture in Uni last year when we spent about 2 hours writing an algorithm on how we would dress ET with him having no knowledge of clothes etc. I don't know how that is a daily event though for me, but lets just say it is.
