It's started working again.

Why did it happen, though?
#562
In fact, at the moment I can't run ANY games from AGS, not even the demo. I always get that message.
#563
CJ,

I just got this message. I had just set a script whereby if the played walked off the top screen he would have to go to a different one using the NewRoomEx function.

---------------------------
Illegal exception
---------------------------
An exception 0xC0000005 occured in ACWIN.EXE at EIP = 0x004B036A ; program pointer is +0, ACI version 2.54.522, gtags (0,0)

AGS cannot continue, this exception was fatal. Please note down the numbers above, remember what you were doing at the time and notify CJ on the Tech forum.

Any ideas?  ???

Thanks both. Anvil studio certainly works for me. I'll have a look at the other one now.

I'm also willing to beta. I also think testing by stages is important, because it's easier to cover all ground and thus find bugs. You can get a bit lost beta testing a full-length game...

I've also started. My game is a bit of a mixture between Casablanca, Going Down and Groundhog Day. I'm not planning to make it very long so I can meet the deadline...

Yep, you're right. All those things are true.

Rather than solid scripting I was interested in an overall entertaining game.

If you give me a list of the objects you can take twice (coin, magnet, etc) I'll probably fix it all up for version 2.0   ;D

I just want to cut the first 3 or 4 seconds out of a midi file. What should I do? Is there any good, free program to do it?

Yeah, I've seen it, I just thought people hadn't noticed it and it wasn't worth fixing...
#575
Sorry, I forgot to say Nick it and run would fit in the full game category...
#576
I'd also like to get in the list.

Perhaps, but I tried and tried and tried. There could have been some sort of bug maybe, I don't know. I eventually lost interest. When I started agian I just used the theif.

I was stuck for two years at the kobold in QFG1. Then I discovered the thief could sneak up to him and steal the key. To date, I haven't managed to finish it with the warrior.

Also the drunk driver at PQ1 gave me a pretty hard time...

Your question:

Spoiler

You do need the burger box - that'd be the "main" part of the mask
Then you need something to tie it to your face with.
