Here is my collection of inventory and objects.
I figured it might be helpful for some people.

Looks impressive.  Did you try to get it published by an Adventure game company.
Downloading now. I will report back with my impressions.

Wonderful game. I love it. I can see the length is full commercial lenght.

I am glad we are finally getting these improvments.
It always bugged me that there was a rush to make new ports and improvments were ignored.

Lovecraft Adventure. A man searches an old castle and goes down and down into an underworld.
He discovers the old Gods.

I am unable to find the borrowed wedding item.
I assume I need a number to enter into the machine.

Will Adore have the same way of scripting. Meaning the connection between the editor and scripting.
#107
If another scripting language was used in AGS, would it be implemented in the same way?
Meaning it being tied to the editor in the same way.
AGS scriting is far easier then other scripting.

Has anyone here used this engine?
It looks good for games that use single picture---single picture type adventure.

I like your editor, but it would even be better with custom resolutions.

Thank you

Beginners' Technical Questions / Screenshots
Wed 29/05/2013 16:22:34
I read that F12 should send an ingame screenshot to the games directory.
I tried it and it didn't work.
How do I take a screenshot?

Does the 2nd half of the AGS book exist?
Can a link to it be posted?

Engine Development / Re: On the net

I agree with the approach.
I currently am using SkygoblinAGS for 1280x720.
But when AGS adds higher resolutions, I will change back immediately.

Engine Development / Re: On the net

I follow the developments.  The number of articles that mention the engine codes poorness is surprising.
Just thought i would ask if it is being recoded.
How is the recoding going?

Here is one article

Engine Development / On the net
Wed 22/05/2013 14:02:10
It appeares that the engine is a coding nightmare, according to internet skuttlebutt.
Is anyone working to recode the engine, in I assume C++.

The play-quit game GUI is corrupted (meaning the box and words are mishaped and out of place).
It does not show up in the gui list.
How do I fix the gui box and buttons and label?
How do I find it?
Thanks for any help.

Looks like you mixed up the order of the parameters in your player.ChangeRoom() call at the end of room 1.

You probably have
Code: ags
  player.ChangeRoom(350, some y, 2);

It's supposed to be
Code: ags
  player.ChangeRoom(2, 350, some y);

Thanks Khris, you were right. It works now

I am working on a 1st person escape horror game.
The only character is set to not be shown.
The game crashes when trying to move to room 2
The error message is:
"Error load room: Unable to load file room 350.cm (does not exist)
Check the player character's start room is correct."
It is.
Thanks for any help.
