Hey hey! That was great fun, especially for being produced in such a small amount of time, the art and animation is great and the game carried a lot of atmosphere.

....aaaaaaand let me know what you think of the soundtrack!

Going to give this a play now :)

That's awesome. Definitely the best yet. Looks like a very dead-pan glazed over person.

Ah this is great. I'm definitely interested in hearing more about this project, or how you even went about constructing this. One of my favourite games of all time is EoTB 2: Darkmoon and I've always been interested in creating something similar. I've been trying to build an engine like this using Construct but I'm running into a lot of problems with it.

I'm not a huge fan of the 3D models. They seem a little rough around the edges but overall I'm impressed with the general scale of the project, and that you've achieved an engine that I've been bashing my head against for months now.

Valve always seems to make their games in a way that will work on the lowest possible system settings that they can manage, yet still keep a cutting-edge feel. Like people have said, try the demo first but you seem to meet the minimum system requirements which means you should definitely be able to get it up and running. If this is the case and you have ANY issues you can fiddle with the graphics tab and I am sure you wont have problems, but even in a worst case scenario, Valve's games usually come with bootup options that can help you run the game even on graphics cards below the minimum system requirements and all Valve games for PC come packed with a developers console that let you adjust refresh rates and almost any aspect of the game if you know how.

Since you have the minimum system requirements I don't think you will have any problems getting the game to run.

No no, that's just my opinion. I'm sure other people are more than happy to throw some suggestions at you.

So it's like a Habbo Hotel-esque game over google maps? Well I think you have a lot of work ahead of you and you should probably look into the legality of that as well. Also I think it's pretty poor form to ask for suggestions at such an early stage of development because as a designer it's your job to come up with the essence of the game rather than asking other people to design it for you.

Your game doesn't seem to have much substance going for it other than a concept which seems a little flakey in itself, but best of luck with your project anyway.

I would probably say hold off on the posting until you've got some content to show for it. I mean I guess it sounds interesting but what will you actually be able to do in the game other than walk around and talk to people? Also I have to let you know, google maps is big so uh, you're probably letting yourself in for a lot of work there if you are actually aiming to make any kind of interactive world.
