What about the guy that:
- should not be a virgin because he's almost 40, making amateur adventure games doesn't help him much;
- shares a house with younger people who mock him all time because he's a looser and he doesn't smoke dope;
- has a boring, tedious job for a boss who seems to have it all: blond milf-like wife, good car and a house with a swimming-pool, perfect kids and a dog. a perfect dog;

This guy is not a parent but the question is: doesn't he deserve a game about him?

I am on the team? I belong somewhere? If words about this fly around the net I'll be having some guy in a dark suit knocking on my door pretty soon...

Wait...
I here something...

Nah, it was a fart. I can't even predict when one of my own farts is arriving destination. Only when my huge testicles defy gravity raising several centimetres inside my pants, then yes, I know I just farted.
I'm a failure.

So, we're making a game are we?

So non-parents are allowed but I'm not, okay. Fine.

I'm going to keep an eye on this project even if I'm not allowed in due to the political oppression that falls on my internet persona. What? I don't know.

All has been said but I want to contribute to this topic as well. We all can agree that part3 was really a weak movie, certainly the worse of all Peter Jackson's Tolkien based movies.

While the LOTR trilogy has enough substance to endure celluloid history, the Hobbit trilogy only manages to reach some kind of quality on the first 40 minutes of partI. The rest is volatile crap. And those never-ending fighting sequences that are most of the time unreal, (even if we're dealing with orcs and elves), are plain crap thrown at us. Tolkien was never about the physical act of fighting but the spiritual battle of the common beings.

I once wrote on this same forums that even if Jackson's was doing bad Tolkien movies it was still better than none. With this last and hopefully final film I am not so sure.

Inventive Mind (wtf?) are you serious? Do you have something against the author? Videos of bugs where he presents his game? Do you know what PM's are?
You're mean and I don't like you.

Finished and loved every bit of this game.
The art is very modern and smoothly animated, it doesn't look AGS-made and that is cool for a change.
Music is adequate but a bit too present sometimes (even if it's Chopin), I like quiet moments for nice cinematic sequences and this is the right kind of game for it.
Puzzles are simple but effective, more complex puzzles could break the mood. The story unfolds logically if you're familiar with (spaguetti) cinema, a sense of despair crosses all characters in this game. There's no escape and the end will eventually come in a brutal way. The tree sequence is very well done.

Good work, 8 out of 10.

QuoteAprilSkies, you are the man!
Yeah, right.

Fantastic game guys, congrats!

Spoiler
The sound does stutter a lot when I die and restart, it affects gameplay. My PC is pretty old, so I guess that's the reason.

I really enjoyed this game, the quality level is pretty high, it's well written and well produced. I didn't mind the "click-to-find-stuff" approach because it was intuitive. Well done.

WTF are you doing here? You should be out partying!

Stu, I feel the love here, you're going to finish a game in 2015, that's what my oracle is telling me right now.

320x200?

How lame is it to be the first to respond to Andail's plead?
Anyway, because this season is all about buying pretty stuff, drinking, excess behaviours of a sexual nature and drinking, I am safe to say whatever I want:

- paint my local town landmarks (I've made a rough list of 12 locations);
- pay a annoying debt that is hanging on my back for more time than I ever wanted to;
- be good to my family;
- do at least another AGS game;
