yeah being able to have a non integer speed like 0.3 would be nice, you could fine tune your walk speeds more and have slower speeds for things like little map characters.

The GF4 will be fine for most games now.. it is fast.. it's just the lack of shaders that will become a problem soon I think (stuff like Doom 3 and other games using similar techniques).
I've already seen some effects that work on GF3Tis but not GF4mxs.
Although to be honest unless you want to play a lot of new games for the next couple of years the GF4 is a good card.

That system look fine to me.

Well.. that's a box.. obviously.

It's not really shaded like the rest though so it looks conspicuous.. you can see the other shaded side of it.  Isn't that obvious or am I being silly?

It is remarkably flat and square though.. does look rushed.

It's been asked for a lot of times.. the problem I think was that the pathfinding calculates the whole movement before it happens so it cant change speed while moving.. something like that.

It's on the list.  The one feature that would make AGS perfect for me :)

No.. you don't have to pay.  You can if you want though, to help development.  But to test it out you certainly don't.

(there are other IRC clients btw, just mirc is the one most people use.. it's pretty easy to use too)

That's how you chat with the fine agsers.

I haven't used PSP or animation shop for so long, I can't really remember.. but in the resize menu there should be a thing to select the kind of resampling or something.  You need to set it to nearest neighbor I think. (not bilinear or bicubic anyway)

Anyway, read the walkthrough before playing a game, don't look at posters, when stuck combine inventory,  do everything twice, if something's a different shade to the other things it is important, make sure you really check the exits because it's easy to miss rooms, in Sierra type games where you can die save often and not over the same save all the time, read the dialogues properly - there are usually clues.

I'm often quite busy doing things for people but for a good quality game I'd love to help out with art, I can do quite good background art.. I prefer high res to low res but I don't mind (prefer for speed) working in 256 colour.



Can do character art too but would rather not :P  Just takes a lot of time for me..

I fell on a baby hedgehog and perforated my chin.
It was caught up in something, and I freed it.  Then it ran away.  The scar is very subtle but it's what stops me from growing a bread ok.  Yes that's right I mean beard.

A lot of people post asking for help, they usually aren't lucky unless they are well known and respected in the community or they post a lot of information about their game.. graphics and design can take a lot of work and not many people will want to risk spending time on a project that they aren't sure will suceed.  It's hard to find help to start with, perhaps you'd be better practicing the areas you need help with and making a small game in the beginning, at least people will know you are serious and can finish a game.
