Hi there, I'm looking for people to test a new version of The Cat Lady (version 1.3). Specifically, I'd like to hear from any native French, Spanish or German players who can give the translations (subtitles) a whirl, and see if they go out of sync to the English voice overs or contain any major errors.

Please note the game is about 8 hours in length and I would need you to play the whole thing. So having some time on your hands would be useful. We'll use our Mantis bugtracker to list and resolve any problems. If you're interested, PM me here and let me know your email address, or feel free to email me mark at screen7.co.uk with the title "Translation testing".

Additionally, English players may be interested too, to help identify if the other new standard features work okay or not. If everything goes well, this game will be released on Steam, and you (and previous beta-testers*) will be sent a DVD-rom copy or a small donation for your help, Steam key and hopefully more treats in the future. You'll get a MobyGames credit and new/updated documentation will include a credit. I cannot guarantee and in-game credit but am trying to find a way to do that, and credit the translators too.

You'll also be testing the "Update" method (thanks Ali :)) and perhaps a couple of other things connected to the distribution side of things too. We appreciate your help, these things do not happen overnight :)

Ideally, you would have at least one or two AGS game credits. Otherwise please include a short explanation as to why & how you feel you can help.

Any questions, feel free to ask here, but please respect the forum rules (and my sanity) and don't ask me general questions about the distribution of this new version (to the general public) here ;) Still solving the ideal and fairest way to do this, and a free update is not out of the question. Information will be posted in this thread in time.

Thanks for reading! And thank you to everyone who has helped with this new version.

* Both testers of 1.2 and this new one 1.3 will be emailed info about this soon.
