Public Relations Interns
We are looking for an enthusiastic interns to join our public relations and community teams to work on Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller and other projects! This is an excellent learning opportunity to get direct experience with the development process alongside the talented and hard-working team behind The Silver Lining, Cognition, and the upcoming Jane Jensen's Moebius.

This is an unpaid internship position (we can work around any class schedules).

Job Responsibilities:
•Interacting with and promoting the growth of the community on Phoenix Online social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, forums, etc)
•Increasing brand awareness, internet traffic, and interactions with the community on all channels
•Become part of the Phoenix Online community by actively participating and engaging with others
•Utilize social networks to strengthen relationships with Phoenix Online gamers all around the world, evaluating their impressions with the game
•Reporting and quantifying important data regarding feedback and suggestions from the community
•Ability to follow and engage with new community members to help Phoenix learn and grow
•Creating content to promote and engage the community
•Researching and seeking out new communities for outreach
•Working with the team to generate ideas for publicity, contests, and community outreach, as well as implementing those ideas

Job Requirements
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent English grammar skills (Other languages a plus)
•Understanding of SMF forums, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest
•An energetic attitude, ready to jump into projects and be highly interactive with the community
•Graphic design, web design, creative writing, audio and/or video editing skills a plus
•Available to communicate with the team on Skype on a daily basis
•Availability of 40 hours a week is preferred; a minimum of 25 hours/week is required
•Strong interest in computer games and familiarity with adventure games is a plus

Video Editor Intern
We are looking for an enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our team to work on Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller and other projects! Job Responsibilities:
•Capture video from in-game.
•Edit video for in-game purposes or promotional material.
•Screenshots from the game for promotional material or references.

Job Requirements
•Good notion of timing for video editing.
•Experience with video editors such as Premiere, Vegas or Final Cut.
•Post-production software experience (After Effects, Combustion, etc)
•High end machine able to capture video at 720p or higher at 30 fps.
•Experience in audio editing a plus.
•Good eye for putting awesome trailers and recap videos.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to take critiques
•Solution oriented and proactive
•Ability to meet deadlines.
•Must be set up for conversations over Skype.
•Availability of a minimum of 25 hours/week is required.
•Strong interest in computer games and familiarity with adventure games is a plus.

Animator
We are looking for an enthusiastic Animator to join our team. You will be working alongside the team that created the ambitious King's Quest inspired fan game The Silver Lining.

The current team is comprised from professionals in their fields, and many of the people in our team have gone off to high caliber studios in the industry after building their skills sets with The Silver Lining. We will ensure that your experience will be unique, and that you will learn invaluable information.

The position is volunteer basis, but with the potential of becoming a paid position in the future.

Job Responsibilities:
•Responsible for animating 3D character models in a fantasy environment with realistic and fantasy looking characters and environments.
•Set up the mainframe for the in-game cutscenes and work directly with the content programmers to implement them in the game.
•Polish current animations as needed.
•Experience in great lipsync animation a plus

Job Requirements
•Brings high level of artistic / animation accomplishment to the solution of artistic problems.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to take critiques
•Portfolio/website demonstrating your skills.
•Solution oriented and proactive
•Ability to meet deadlines.
•Must be set up for conversations over Skype and MSN Messenger.
•Ability to put in at least 15 hours of volunteer work weekly.

Cinematic Artist
We are looking for an enthusiastic Cinematic Artist to join our team for The Silver Lining. This is an unpaid, volunteer position.

Our ideal candidate will have an eye for cinematic material and be able to shape sequences in-game to give The Silver Lining a truly cinematic and dynamic feel. You will be working directly with new tools implemented for the Unity Engine, alongside a hardworking, dedicated team.

The position is volunteer basis, but with the potential of becoming a paid position in the future.

Job Responsibilities:
•Creating game cutscenes and interactive dialogs with a great eye for pacing, acting, and timing using existing animations.
•Communicate regularly with Designers, Leads, and fellow team members to improve visual cinematic quality of our games.
•Work with cameras and staging in the Unity engine.
•Work efficiently, bringing quality to the work even under tight deadlines.

Job Requirements
•Experience with editing tools such as Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
•Great eye for cinematography and editing.
•Previous experience or proven abilities. You must submit a portfolio with your application.
•Ability to learn quickly.
•Both a good team player and able to work individually.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to take critiques.
•Ready availability on Skype and email. Our studio is online-based, meaning you will be working from your own location and must be online during work hours.
•Availability of at least 10 hours a week
•Strong interest in computer games and knowledge of adventure games is a plus
