The first shot features the lead character (the guy with the acoustic guitar), but it's deliberately misleading. The second shot is more revealing of the movie's true nature :-)

I should have known it. I've seen all the Phantasm movies. But for some reason, when I think of Reggie, I think of his gigantic shotgun, not his guitar.
