That is Michael J Pollard though, right?

CaptainD

It certainly is. :cheesy:

Hint: The director of this film was not a loser...

Yes!  Taking Lucy the elephant across the alps with Oliver Reed in 1969. :-D
one of my favorite movies :)

Now guess:

CaptainD

A Touch of Class?

(Glad to see someone else who liked Hannibal Brooks - I saw it a number of times when I was younger, it was one of those rare movies that everyone in the family enjoyed.)

CaptainD

AnasAbdin

haha no!
Here's another clue, it's from the intro scene:

Gilbert

Just a random guess. Consider that jewelry (robbery?) is involved and it doesn't look like a recent film, one of those Pink Panther films?

AnasAbdin

It's not related to any Pink Panther film sorry ;)
But the opening credits is indeed a cartoon about jewelry theft...

AND it is an oldie :-D

Ben X

I've never seen it, but my immediate thought was Hitchcock/Grant, so combined with that intro grab, I'll gof for "To Catch A Thief".

AnasAbdin

That's a good taste guess Ben X... but not the correct answer sorry!
I guess the third and final clue shot will be posted soon.
Here's a hint though: It's starring Natalie Wood.

Gribbler

CaptainD

Natalie Wood?  I do recognise this... oh hey it's not Penelope is it?

EDIT - Ah, I see Gribbler got there first.  Liked this movie. ;-D

AnasAbdin

Gribbler You got it a couple of minutes before CaptainD (laugh)
Yeah it is indeed a lovely movie :)

Your turn :)

Gribbler

Guesser is also obliged to quote the character in this particular scene :)

Ben X
