MAGS entry full of sea lore. The player needs to find superstitions and traditions and try to make the wind blow again. The limited area and crew of the ship is made well use of, filling the game with well-made puzzles. Lacks a bit polish, but still well worth playing.
We'd love to hear what you think about the game!

I find many games excel in one particular aspect such as the story or the atmosphere, and for Becalmed I'd say this definitely excels in the puzzles department. The idea is to discover and implement ways to build up the wind and there are some creative ways to do so which require some thought but shouldn't require a trip to the hints forum. I did very much enjoy this one.
I liked this game a lot. The puzzles are well thought out, and I learned new stuff about sea folklore. I found it hilarious that most "rules" for behaviour is about limiting the wind, but here I got to act the exact opposite. I wouldn't mind playing more games with this crew either.
Becalmed story is quite simple: your ship is still at sea and you have to conjure something up to make the wind blow again.
I liked the past productions of the author (immersive story and characters), and I was expecting more of it. This instead takes immediately a different turn, the one of a puzzle-fest.
If you like inventory challanges you will find a lot to like: use everythin on everything, some minor pixel hunts, characters that will send you to do their chores and a modicum of backtracking.
PC speed is on the slow side, as slowish are transitions and feedback for your actions, so it can be a bit unnerving at times.
My suggestion is to play this while having the Hints&Tips thread open. It is a solid production and if you like puzzles, this for sure is a game for you!
Like every game from this developer, this is a very good and entertaining title. Keep them coming!!!
