The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

AGS Panel Review

"Very impressive first effort that is held back only by its short length."

7 people commented on this game (newest first):

I had very low expectations of this game (no offense) when I read about it in the forums, but this game goes above what I thought it could ever be. For such a simple plot, many twists are involved. I really like the graphics style of this game. The Music had my toes tapping at first, but it soon got old. Overall this is a good game thats worth the dial-up download time!

This game has very, very good art. The dialog and characterizations are pretty accurate, too (the game may feel like an image of your past ;-) ) The puzzles are not so bad in general, although we've seen them all before.

On the bad side, the game is full of "red herrings." There are lots of objects to interact with, although most of them don't give any interesting description for the "examine" action and no description or a very generic one, for the other actions. And the fish puzzle... it just felt like dragging the end for too long.

Wonderful short game. This is a must play in my book. I look forward to more games by KDC in the future.

It was a great little game. This was their first game, so I didn't expect much, but the game was better than my expectations. Great plot.

Good game. Especially the fully functional retro handheld Nintendo. Good music, good graphics.

Short and nice game. Loved the drawings and the retro style!

I really enjoyed this short game. Lots of 80s references, good puzzles, and fantastic graphics/music.

Highly recommended!

I'd say it should probably be in short games since if you're good you could probably finish it in about an hour....
